The Organizing Committee of “THE 7TH INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON THE NEOGENE FROM THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH-EASTERN EUROPE” has the pleasure to invite you to participate in the Workshop which will be organized in the town of Velika, from 28th to 31th of May 2017 together with the Regional Committee on Mediterranean Neogene Stratigraphy as an RCMNS interim colloquium.

The Programme of the workshop covers actual problems and perspective fields of Neogene geology, with special focus on the Paratethys. Abstracts of scientific contribution will be published in the Proceedings of the Workshop. We hope that your active participation will contribute to a successful realization of the Workshop.

The workshop will consist of three days of technical sessions and field excursions in the North Croatian Basin. The meeting will be held at the Educational and Visitors Centre in Velika, a place 12 kilometers away from Požega http://www.papukgeopark.com. Facilities will be available for presentation and demonstration purposes.
