Such Academic Fora have been held before every BRICS Summit so far. It is a matter of pride for this platform that in the past many of its ideas have been reflected in the final Summit documents. The Forum usually invites 10-12 scholars from each member na- tion to speak on themes of importance. In addition, a large num- ber of scholars from all countries participate in the deliberations.
