June 2015 International Summer School of Chuvash State University «Cheboksary – Russian Pearl of Volga» invites foreign students for participating in the educational programs:
Program 1: «Russian language and culture»
Timing: June 15-28, 2015

Intensive course of Russian language (72 hours) – 2 ECTS credits
Participation in excursions and cultural events– 36 hours – 1 ECTS credits
Attainment level: all levels from beginner to advanced
Living and nutritive conditions: double room in university hostel, canteens in university buildings.
Price: 20 000 rubles (the price includes: education, living costs, training material, main part of cultural program)
Extra costs: 200 rubles per day
Train from Moscow to Cheboksary: state-room – 3000 rub., economy class –1300 rub.

The procedure of applying for participation in the Summer School:
Sending the completed application forms to Chuvash State University→ Receiving an invitation → Procurement of visas → Arrival → Classes
Making an invitation begins only after a receipt of all requested information, and it takes over 3 months.
A student with an invitation and official letter from the University should contact the Russian consulate for visa.
After receiving the visa, you have to inform us about your arrival time in Cheboksary.
Application for participation in the summer school
Necessary documents:
Motivation Letter (in Russian, English or German);
A completed application form(in Russian, English or German);
Resume (in Russian, English or German);
Copies of a passport
Procurement of visa:
To enter Russia you have to get Russian visa. Visa upon arrival at the airport in Russia is impossible. To obtain a visa you should contact the nearest Consulate or Embassy of the Russian Federation in your country.
Documents for visa:
International passport, valid for at least 6 months after the trip.
International passport must have at least one blank page for the visa.
An official invitation issued by the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation or one of its affiliates.
To get an official invitation you have to provide your data to The CSU. The International Relations department will submit an application for the issue of a formal invitation to the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation. Execution of invitations takes 30 days. The invitation will be sent to you via mail or courier service (due to receipt). After you get visa at one of the offices of the Russian Federation Consulate in your country, please let us know the dates of your arrival to Cheboksary.
