OHIO APR IL 2004 U.S. World Cup Team Selected Overland Park, Kansas. April 4--ln a full day of racing, the U.S. team for the World Cup competition in Naumburg , Gennany , May I and 2 emerged . The day's racing included men's and women's events at 20 Km and junior men 's and women 's events at IO Km. Joining the team will be the men selected at an earlier 50 Km trial. The team includes five men and women at 20. five men at 50. and three juniors at IO for both men and women .. Today . Tim Seaman and Joanne Dow were easy winners in the two 20 Km races held on a 2 Km lap course . The women's race was dominated by veteran walkers with vast international experience . Joanne Dow , a couple of weeks past her 40th birlhday and a member of three Woorld Cup and two World Championship teams in the past, took command early in the race, dropping Teresa Vaill by 5 km and holding a 42 second lead as she passed JO km in 46:21. Content with the win. she didn't push for time and finished in I :34:44 , more than two minutes ahead of Vaill. Vaill, 41 , has been on six World Cup teams, dating back to 1985. She struggled over the second halfofthe race, but was still well clear of Michelle Rohl.

The South Russian anthroponyms, toponyms and pragmatonyms are considered in this article and how they verbalize the most important values and ideological views. It is proved in the article that the key concepts of the Greek lingvoculture such as: “Peace”, “Faith”, “Love”, “Heroism”, “Knowledge”, “Alphabet”, “Power”, “Charismatic person” and “Craft” are highly concentrated in the onomastic lexis of the researched region. The mentioned above concepts due to their specific pragmatic orientation are represented at different extend.     MANAGEMENT AND SPATIAL PLANNING IN THE COASTAL ZONE OF THE CHEBOKSARY RESERVOIR Inna Nikonorova [email protected] Chuvash state university 428015, Russia, Cheboksary, Moskovsky av., 15 Lowland hydroelectric reservoir created as a complex, multi-functional building. Along with a positive result, they had a number of negative consequences. Many researchers address to the problem of reservoirs, especially in the second half of the twentieth century in Russia, USA, China and some European countries (Poland, Ukraine, and others). A great contribution to the study of this field of science has Russian scientists: Avakyan, Matarzin, Ikonnikov, Shirokov, Edelstein, Ershova, Berkowitzch, Rulyova, Nazarov, et al. Cheboksary reservoir was formed by the hydroelectric dam of the same name on the river Volga. Within Chuvashia Volga has a length of 127 km. Like the whole valley, this plot suffered a complete overhaul with the establishment in 1981 of the last stage of the Volga Hydroelectric Power Plant Cascade - Cheboksary hydroelectric plant. Since 1981 Cheboksary reservoir is exploited on unplanned water-level mark - 63 m instead of 68 m on the project. It is necessary to find the optimal path of sustainable development for the Cheboksary reservoir, because for over 30 years reservoir exploited by unplanned mark (63 m instead 68 m), and Cheboksary hydro-power plant is an unfinished construction project. Department of Physical Geography and Geomorphology of the Chuvash State University studied Cheboksary reservoir since 1992. There are obtained results of monitoring banks, geoecological study of water masses and coastal geosystems, defined zones, types and extent of its recreational use. There is defined maximum coastal retreat since 1981.
