    TITLE 16. CRIMES AND OFFENSES CHAPTER 13. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS § 16-13-1. Drug related objects (a) As used in this Code section, the term: (1) "Controlled substance" shall have the same meaning as defined in Article 2 of this chapter, relating to controlled substances. For the purposes of this Code section, the term "controlled substance" shall include marijuana as defined by paragraph (16) of Code Section 16-13-21. (2) "Dangerous drug" shall have the same meaning as defined in Article 3 of this chapter, relating to dangerous drugs. (3) "Drug related object" means any machine, instrument, tool, equipment, contrivance, or device which an average person would reasonably conclude is intended to be used for one or more of the following purposes: (A) To introduce into the human body any dangerous drug or controlled substance under circumstances in violation of the laws of this state; (B) To enhance the effect on the human body of any dangerous drug or controlled substance under circumstances in violation of the laws of this state; (C) To conceal any quantity of any dangerous drug or controlled substance under circumstances in violation of the laws of this state; or (D) To test the strength, effectiveness, or purity of any dangerous drug or controlled substance under circumstances in violation of the laws of this state. (4) "Knowingly" means having general knowledge that a machine, instrument, tool, item of equipment, contrivance, or device is a drug related object or having reasonable grounds to believe that any such object is or may, to an average person, appear to be a drug related object.

The IDSO for the enzyme, purified from pig antrum mucosa by ultracentrifugation and chromatography on DEAE-cellulose, was 2.5 gM. 2 In six dogs with Heidenhain pouches the maximum secretory response to histamine (40,ug/kg i.m.) was augmented by i.m. injection of amodiaquine. The augmentation depended on the dose of amodiaquine, the optimum effect (40% increase in volume of gastric juice, 80% in acid output) being achieved with 2 mg/kg. The maximum secretory response to betazole was also enhanced by amodiaquine. 3 It was suggested that amodiaquine may enhance the histamine and betazole stimulated gastric secretion by an inhibition of gastric histamine methyltransferase in vivo. STACHER1 AND DORIS STARKER From the Research Laboratory of the First Surgical and the Psychiatric University Clinic, Vienna, Austria SUMMARY Basal, as well as betazole-stimulated gastric acid secretion in man is reduced after the intravenous administration of bromazepam. In subjects staying awake, this reduction is limited to the first two 15-minute periods. The reduction is highly significant in subjects who fall asleep after receiving the drug. Natural sleep causes the same depression. The low level of acid secretion is maintained until the subjects are awakened when there is a sharp and highly significant rise. Acid secretion in subjects who fall asleep after the simultaneous administration of betazole and brom- azepam is significantly higher than after the administration of bromazepam alone. Sleep causes a much greater depression of basal and betazole-stimulated acid secretion than does the benzodiaze- pine itself. Acid secretion was measured by continuous intragastric titration and a pH-sensitive endoradio- sonde. CBA Objectives and methodology: The Holistic Rare Disease project (HoliRD) aims to build Diseases Maps for as many Rare Diseases as possible and to model them to systematize research in drug repurposing. In order to achieve this purpose several databases such as ORPHANET, OMIM, HPO, PubMed, KEGG, STRING, as well as the literature is used to collect all the up-to-date knowledge of the diseases under study and defining a Disease Map that contains the functional relationships among the known disease genes, as well as the functional consequences of their activity. Then, a mechanistic model that accounts for the activity of such map is used. The HiPathia algorithm, which has successfully proven to predict cell activities related to cancer hallmarks (Hidalgo et al., Oncotarget 2017; 8:5160-5178; Hidalgo et al., Biol Direct. 2018;13:16) as well as the effect of protein inhibitions on cell survival (Cubuk et al., Cancer Res. 2018; 78:6059-6072) is used to simulate the activity of the disease map. Finally, machine learning algorithms are used to find other proteins, already target of drugs with another indication, which display a potential causal effect on the activity of the previously defined disease map. The drugs that target these proteins are potential candidates for repurposing. Schematic representation of the method used.
