I am very pleased to offer this letter of recommendation for Jc Tecklenburg. I have worked with Jc for two years at American Television (ATV), the student-run television station at American University in Washington, DC.

Jc brings strong professionalism to his work and an eagerness to contribute. When Jc first joined ATV in 2011, the first contribution he made to the station was volunteering to help develop a new title sequence for the tech news show that I co-produced and edited. The quality of his work blew me and my co-producer away, and he was also very flexible in making minor adjustments as we needed. He has since done similar outstanding motion graphics work with many of ATV’s other television shows and productions.

While I was serving as ATV’s General Manager in 2012-13, Jc stepped up to play a pivotal role as the co-director of ATV’s Productions Department. That year, ATV signed a contract to produce professional videos for American University’s Office of Campus Life and its 14 departments. ATV’s Productions Department took the lead in producing these videos, which have been distributed to prospective students and their families, faculty and staff, alumni and donors of American University. Jc worked with Office of Campus Life administrators to plan, film, and edit videos and produce stellar motion graphics for those videos.

Jc is focused and dedicated to his work. He is a skilled editor and an organized manager, whose work is of high professional quality, and always produced in a timely manner.
