In 1993-2001 Collegium Technicum organized the International Festival UNIVERSITAS CANTAT, at which the choir together with foreign university choirs performed oratorio works (A. Dvo řák: Stabat Mater, G. Rossini: Petite messe solennelle, W.A. Mozart: Technical University of Košice Requiem, Messe c-mol) in churches and cathedrals in Košice, Bratislava, Wien, Bern, and ř Faculty of Metallurgy Zürich. The last university projects were - the performance of A. Dvo ák: Stabat Mater th (2010) with the Chor Akademicki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego conducted by the Russian 9 International Conference on Local Mechanical Properties 2012 conductor Irina Bogdanovich, the first performance of Shubert‘s Messe As Dur in Košice ě č conducted by Zbyn k Müller and performed with an excellent choir APZ Tone Tomši from the University of Ljublana in 2010, in 2011 the choir together with the university choir RIGA from Riga Stradins University performed for the first time in Košice the Messe Solennelle de Sainte Cécile by Charles Gounod conducted by the Czech conductor Stanislav Vav řínek. Tatiana Švajková-Kanišáková graduated from the Faculty of Education, Comenius University in Bratislava in 1997, from which she also received her PhD. degree. In 2003 she took part in the master classes of choral conducting with Prof. Éva Rozsgonyi in Szeged (Hungary), in 2006 she attended the postgraduate study of choral singing and conducting at the Akademia Muzycna in Bydgoszcz which she finished with distinction. Since 2001 she has been teaching at the Department of Music, Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences, University of Prešov. She is the conductor of the women’s choir Iuventus Paedagogica and the mixed singer choir Nostro Canto there with which she recorded a CD of contemporary Slovak choral music. At the international competitions IFAS in Pardubice, Concert of the mixed singer choir of Technical University of Košice Czech Republic (2004, 2008) and Academic Banská Bystrica, Slovakia she was awarded the highest prizes and the prize for the best conductor. Since 2010 she has been the conductor of the choir Collegium Technicum with which she COLLEGIUM TECHNICUM presented for the first time the compositions of Juraj Hatrík and Ivan Hrušovský. In cooperation with the State Philharmony of Košice she prepared the choir for the following oratorio works: Stabat Mater by Antonín Dvo řák, Schubert’s Messe As dur and Stabat Mater, Messa di Gloria by Pietro Mascagni, the Messe solennelle de Saint Cécile by Charles Gounod and the Heilgmesse by Joseph Haydn. She has conducted CollegiumTechnicum 15-times in public concert performances. Under her conduction at the National Competition in Banská Bystrica 2012, the Collegium Technicum confirmed its dominant position in the hierarchy of large mixed choirs in Slovakia when it won the competition and it was awarded the Prize of the Slovak Music Fund for the best interpretation of the composition of Slovak composer. Tatiana Švajková is a regular lector and jury member. She has given lectures and conducted in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, France, Austria, Norway, Ukraine, Slovenia and Spain (33 concerts, festival and competition performances). The first conductor of the choir was Roman Sk řepek. In 1985-1987 the choir was conducted Anton Bruckner Christus factus est by Marián Vach and in 1988-1989 the choir conductor was Ján Drietomský. An important (1824 – 1896) period in the history of the choir lasting from 1989 to 1996 was connected with the conductor Eva Zacharová, this period included intensive cooperation with two conductors - Zden ěk Lukáš Requiem aeternam Marián Vach and Lubomír Mátl. In 1996-2009 the choir was conducted by Karol Petróczi. (1928 – 2007) Hostias At present the conductor of the choir is Tatiana Švajková-Kanišáková. Lacrymosa Collegium Technicum belongs to the top representatives of choral singing in Slovakia. It has been awarded numerous prizes at festivals and competitions in Slovakia and Agnus Dei abroad. The choir has been a triple laureate of the International Competition of Academic Choirs IFAS in Pardubice (1986, 1990, 1992) and a fivefold winner of the festival of Ivan Hrušovský Gloria from Missa pro iuventute academic choirs Academic Banská Bystrica (1985, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001), in 1987 it was (1927 – 2001) dedicated to Collegium Technicum awarded the 3 rd Prize in Spittal an der Drau (Austria), in 1989 the choir became an absolute winner of the Prague Days of Choral Singing, in 1997 at the XV Teeside International Eisteddfod in Middlesbrough (England) the choir was awarded two 1 st prizes in the category Piotr Ilji č Čajkovskij Dostojno est of chamber choirs and folklore and 2 nd prize in the category of large mixed choirs. In 2000 (1840 – 1893) the choir was awarded the Gold Medal and the Prize for Dramaturgy at the X International Ivan Hrušovský Triptych Festival of Sacred and Advent Music in Prague, in 2002 the choir became an absolute Č (1927 – 2001) Tropar winner of the festival Spring is Coming in eský Krumlov where it was awarded the Prize of Zden ěk Lukáš received from hands of Zden ěk Lukáš. In August 2006 the choir was Pochvala awarded 1 st Prize at the II. International Competition The Singing World (Pojuš čij mir) in St. Petersburg. In 2003 at its 20 th anniversary the choir was awarded the Prize of City Juraj Hatrík V Domu Otca mojevo Košice. (1941) dedicated to Tatiana Kanišáková The choir has given 180 concerts and festival performances abroad in 20 states of Europe, Israel, South America, USA and Mexico. In 2007 during the concert tour in the Miklos Csemiczky Pater noster United States of Mexico an audience of 30,000 people attended 16 concerts given there. The choir, as the first one from Slovakia, sang in the famous Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City (1954) with 9100 concert hall listeners. Collegium Technicum has worked together with 44 professional conductors, 31 of them from abroad, namely Peter Phiplips (GB), Oliver Pekka Kostiainen Jaakobin isot pojat Dohnányi, Ondrej Lénard, Petr Altrichter, Tomáš Koutník, Peter Breiner, Irina Bogdanovich (RF), Gergely Ménesy (H). The choir has given concerts with renowned (1944) soloists, namely Miroslav Dvorský, Ľubica Rybárska, Martin Babjak, Peter Mikuláš, Iveta Matyašová, Michal Lehotský, Ji ří Sulženko(CZ), Eva D řízgová(CZ), Rafal Bartminski (PL) and others. The choir cooperated with university choirs in Split, Madrid, Budapest, Moscow, Oslo, León, Warwick, Prague, Bratislava, Ostrava, Cracow, Bologna, Lisbon, Wisconsin, Warsaw, Ljubljana and Riga. Since the season 1986/87 the choir has worked together Conductor : Tatiana Švajková - Kanišáková regularly with the State Philharmony of Košice, which resulted in 19 oratorio works. The has also worked together with the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra of the State Theatre in Košice, the orchestra of the State Opera in Banská Bystrica and several university and festival orchestras in Slovakia and abroad. In 1997 the choir recorded an author CD of Ivan Hrušovský Cantate Domino, in 2003 it recorded an author CD of Zden ěk Lukáš Te Deum laudamus and in 2007 it recorded CD Collegium Technicum in Opera. .
