This was to be so…until June of 2016. The Lord had been asking us to pray, pray, pray for Mercy for months. We had been praying – Father God had responded by showing Mercy and averting the beginning of WWIII. Finally, in a series of messages starting in July of 2016 the Lord gave us the wonderful news: our prayers, joined with the prayers of Christians the world over – had moved Father’s heart to setting a more distant time for the Rapture: I was aware that something in the world concerning WWIII - something had shifted. Something had changed. Lord, do you have something to say here? He began, “The situation is quite convoluted - many, many dynamics and I don’t want you involved in-depth, Clare. Please, don’t try to figure it out. One thing I do want you to know: I am STILL IN CHARGE. What man plans for his evil agenda, I turn to My good agenda. This you can rest in. “Your prayers have resulted in Satan’s plans not moving forward.” And I was very curious at that point, and I said, ‘But does that affect the Rapture?’ And Jesus answered me, “It certainly does. You might as well be honest, Clare. That is your trademark, you know. “My People, you have prayed. The world is waking up and beginning to respond. Those who had power over the world and its peoples because they were ignorant - those people are waking up and opting out. Not only that, they are siding with the opposition - which in many cases is being led by Christians. 6 | FATHER HAS SHOWN US MERCY “There is still Judgment to come, but just as in Nineveh when men repented, there is a massive grassroots movement of repentance going on. It isn’t the kind of repentance that happens when a man is convicted of his personal sins. It is more a repentance linked to social sins, and they are asking themselves, ‘What can I do to change this?’ “Eventually they are going to come to Me. Justice will come to the surface and it will be seen that evil men have stolen freedoms; evil men have decimated millions - genocides. Evil men must be stopped. There will no longer be the knee-jerk reaction. That is, cooperation with the Elite when they push buttons and set up situations to provoke anarchy. “Rather, men will reason among themselves and see they are being played. They will choose not to cooperate even against their survival instincts. You see, I have released a Grace to mankind on Earth - the grace of seeing beyond the surface; transparency, seeing what is really intended by those in ruling positions. Not only will the people see, but they will make a conscious choice not to cooperate. “This is going to impact the entire world, Clare. “…Do not persecute the prophets among you who have been faithful to warn you. You owe them your lives and the lives of your unsaved loved ones who still have a chance. Do not fall in with the unbelievers and ridicule the Rapture, or WW3 or Revelation - or anything like that. Do not be a naysayer. “Rather, declare that OUR GOD REIGNS!! And that the prayers of the little ones, the simple ones, the God-loving people of the Earth have broken the flask of their hearts and poured out the ointment of petition on behalf of the inhabitants of the whole Earth. And the RHEMA | HEARING A WORD FROM THE LORD 7 Father, who is Pure Mercy Himself, has relented and chosen to give you all a window of opportunity, another chance for conversions and to get it right.” (from the message Judgment, War and Rapture Delayed) Later, by August 6th, more clarification was released to us about the delay: I had begun worship earlier in the evening and He called me to write down a personal message and I started to get sleepy by the end of it…that time of the day, and after dinner. So, He asked me to get a nap. When I went to lay down, I saw Him to my right and He said, “Three years.” Repeating Himself two times. I determined to discern that word when I woke up. As I came in and sat down to be with Him, He began speaking to me, “I am with you and I have been speaking to you. Thank you for trusting Me and listening.” So, we have three years? “That’s correct, provided prayer and repentance and fast offerings continue. I really want to see conversion. Conversion of hearts and attitudes. And this is what’s happening.” Are you setting a date for the Rapture, Lord? “No. I am telling you that if prayer and sacrifice with repentance continue, I will hold off the worst of World War 3, and you will have time to create and do what is on your heart for the Kingdom. I am opening a window no one can shut. But it continues to be dependent on the faithfulness of My People, not just in America, but around the world. 8 | FATHER HAS SHOWN US MERCY “Let me explain it to you this way. There are those among you who have been biding their time for the Rapture and not serving Me with their whole hearts. I am giving them another chance. They have three years to show their love for Me with deeds… not just words. “The others among you have already been making plans and I am blessing them and opening doors that have never been opened to them before. This message will give them a measure of peace, that what they’ve started, they do indeed have time to finish. These are things that I want to do with them, for the Kingdom. “At the end of three years, we will take another look and see what the climate is. How much repentance has taken place, how many laws have been rescinded - abortion, for example - and how people have turned their hearts back to Me. “Nevertheless, this IS conditional on continuing prayer. But I will say, there are substantial changes in hearts and attitudes around the world.” (from the message Jesus Give Us 3 More Years, Conditionally) We continue to pray, fast and give offering for God’s Mercy and await the wonders He will unfold in these intervening years. It is our prayer that this book will help to draw you close to His heart and help you hear from Him clearly, as we wait together for Him! C. Half a century ago, Dr. Alfred Tomatis was confronted with the most curious case of his fifty-year career as an otolar- yngologist. A renowned opera singer had mysteriously lost his ability to hit certain notes even though those notes were well within his vocal range. He had been to other specialists, all of whom thought it was a vocal problem. Dr. Tomatis thought otherwise. Using a sonometer, Dr. Tomatis determined that this opera singer was producing 140-decibel sound waves at a meter’s distance. That’s louder than a military jet taking off from an aircraft carrier! That discovery led to this diagnosis: the opera singer had been deafened by the sound of his own voice. And because he couldn’t hear the note, he could no longer sing the note. In Dr. Tomatis’s words, “The voice can only reproduce what the ear can hear.” The French Academy of Medicine dubbed it the Tomatis effect. And it’s ramifications go way beyond opera. Listen, here’s my theory. All of us have problems—relational problems, emotional problems, spiritual problems. We think those problems are the problem, but I think they’re symptoms. The root cause of our problems is a spiritual Tomatis effect—ears that have been deafened to the voice of God. It’s our own negative self-talk. God can’t get a word in edgewise! It’s the voice of criticism—you’ve heard that voice so often for so long that you can’t believe anything else about yourself.

Advent is both beginnings and endings as we prepare to encounter the Mystery of God in our very midst. We are invited to enter into a time of quiet contemplation as we anticipate God breaking into human history in the shape of a tiny, fragile infant we will welcome as the Christ Child. At the same time we wait for the day of the Lord’s coming. In this in-between time, we wait with hope in the darkness of winter for the light of Christ to come into the world. Advent is the beginning of a new church year, with the focus on a particular gospel in our Sunday lectionary readings. This year, we will read from Matthew’s gospel. These four weeks of Advent are an opportunity to listen to that still small voice within, beckoning each one of us to stop and set some time apart from our busy holiday preparations to simply be with God.     Introduction Weather is a common topic for small talk. Because of our ever-changing climate, it seems that us Midwesterners are constantly checking our weather apps, looking at the forecast to adjust our travel arrangements, and turning our gaze to the horizon to read the forecast in the clouds. However, weather is an inevitable piece of life that remains firmly outside our grasp and cycles on, shifting and changing, blowing in and out of the spaces where we remain. Winter especially, brings a new dimension to window watching and sky gazing. I’ve heard some people talk about making it through a Midwestern winter the same way people talk about running a marathon or cycling cross-country. For some, it is a journey of pride. For others, it is a journey of grit. Wintry days take perseverance and intentional observation. Winter weather also prompts so many questions, particularly about snow. Will we get any? Is there some sitting heavy in those clouds above? Will it come with ice and how will the roads be after it arrives? So many nuances that tug at our curiosity and keep our minds spinning with possibilities. Some jump for joy when those first flakes appear, some grumble, some only want to observe it from a distance, and some, like me and my winter-loving pup, want to run outside and throw our whole body into it. Snow is the final step in a cyclical process that, most of the time, we can’t see without special radars and fancy algorithms. Yet, it all starts with a tiny particle that changes into something more than it was before.
