CROWN TOWERS GIVES NEW MEANING TO LUXURY WELLNESS WITH ’S MOST LAVISH DAY SPA

Designed by Sydney interior designer Blainey North, Crown Spa Sydney takes wellness and indulgence to a new level

22 February 2021 – Sydney, Australia – Inspired by the hues and lines of Sydney Harbour Crown Sydney Spa is now open for guests to immerse themselves in a complete, luxurious wellness journey unparalleled to any other.

Nestled on the sixth floor of the newly built hotel, Crown Spa provides an oasis and experience for all the senses. Designed by global interior designer Blainey North, the interior design is an ode to the tranquil water of the harbour that surrounds it, featuring beautiful flowing forms and translucent, resin walls.

According to North, to create a truly unique wellness experience the design team’s focus lay in understanding the triggers of relaxation in design, and bringing them into the space

“From the moment guests enter the spa, each element of design down to the smallest details in lighting, vaulted ceilings, and backlit features has been curated to create a bespoke and intimate experience. We worked with a number of artists across the world to achieve this, including a tailor in New York, who hand-painted silver leaf wallpaper, and Sydney-based surfboard shaping pioneer, Hayden Cox,” says North.

Crown Spa Sydney provides guests with indulgent treatments using only the best products and procedures from luxurious brands including: La Prairie and Subtle Energies. It is also the first spa in Australia to offer two speciality treatment beds, Quartz Hot-Sand Therapy and Spa Wave – Touchless Therapy.

Opened in December 2020, Crown Towers has been built to deliver Sydney a world-class hotel on par with other global cities. According to Crown Spa Sydney’s Manager Melissa Vitalis, that same world- class standard was at the heart of the spa. “Crown Spa Sydney is unlike any spa I have experienced in the country. We needed it to be next level in terms of treatments, in terms of service and in terms of aesthetic experience. Sydney deserves a world class day spa as well as a world class resort – and Crown Spa Sydney delivers that incredible experience in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.”
