JANE HERTZMARK HUDIS Executive Group President The Estée Lauder Companies Jane Hertzmark Hudis is Executive Group President, The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc., a global leader in prestige beauty with over 25 brands and net sales of over $14 billion as of fiscal year 2019. Ms. Hertzmark Hudis was appointed Executive Group President in July 2020, before which she served as Group President since January 2016. As Executive Group President, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis is responsible for leading the company’s Estée Lauder, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, AERIN, Origins, Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Dr. Jart+ and Do The Right Thing brands globally. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, she also serves on a number of key leadership committees, including the Executive Leadership Team and the Investment Development Committee. As one of the most accomplished, visionary executives in the prestige beauty industry, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis is regarded for her proven track record of leading and building global brands. Her remarkable strategic insight, expertise in local relevance, and unparalleled talent for driving innovation in product, experience and digital communication has helped top beauty brands attract consumers across generations, from ageless to highly influential millennials. A passionate advocate of leadership development throughout her career, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis co-founded the company’s Women’s Leadership Network to inspire and engage women across the organization globally, helping them to become exceptional leaders and mentors. Prior to her role as Group President, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis served as Global Brand President, Estée Lauder, for seven years. As the leader of the company’s namesake brand, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis spearheaded Estée Lauder’s modernization and digital evolution to reach and influence the next generation of digital native consumers. While at the helm, she solidified Estée Lauder’s position as a global leader in high-performance prestige skin care and makeup, growing the brand’s net sales by more than 40 percent and establishing Estée Lauder as the number one prestige brand in its distribution in Asia. Prior to her leadership of the Estée Lauder brand, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis served in a number of key leadership roles at the company, including President of Origins as well as BeautyBank, a brand innovation think tank she founded in 2003. Ms. Hertzmark Hudis serves as a Director of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Foundation as well as a member of FIT’s Executive Committee of the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management Graduate Program. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and on the Board of Directors of Tiffany & Co. Ms. Hertzmark Hudis has been recognized with numerous industry honors, including the FIT Vanguard Award in 2018, the Outstanding Mother Award from the National Mother’s Day Committee and Save the Children in 2017, the WWD Beauty Inc. Beauty Newsmaker Award in 2016, the HELP Hero Business Leadership Award from HELP USA in 2010, and the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Achiever Award in 2008. Ms. Hertzmark Hudis received her B.A. degree from Vassar College and her M.B.A. from Columbia University. She and her husband raised two sons and reside in Manhattan..
