Flores is Portuguese (as well as Spanish) for "flowers" and is located east of Sumbawa and Komodo and west of Lembata and the Alor Archipelago. To the southeast is Timor. To the south, across the Sumba strait, is Sumba and to the north, beyond the Flores Sea, is Sulawesi. Afternoon; relaxing on hotel beach, and free program DAY 2: MAUMERE-MONI (B,L,D) Starting our discovery though Flores island, first we drive to Dokar, which is a traditional weaving village, located about 40 minutes from our hotel on the hill, from here you can see the beautiful landscape from Maumere bay.
