She currently lives in Montreal, but grew up in Switzerland and New Hampshire. She is a Junior (‘22) at Dartmouth College, majoring in Theater and minoring in English. She transferred to Dartmouth after freshman year from Chapman University and has been participating in theater since elementary school. Last summer, she interned at Jeffrey Richards Associates in producing and performed in her first Dartmouth show this past winter, as Matty in The Sweet Science of Bruising. Other past roles include Clarice in The Liar and Olivia in Twelfth Night. ABOUT THE COMPANY CAITLIN DEERIN is excited to be an E-termer at Northern Stage for the Fall of 2020. From Olney, MD, Cait is a Dartmouth College junior studying Mathematics with minors in Education and Theater. Her acting credits include A Christmas Carol (Martha Cratchit, Ford’s Theater), Werter (Ensemble, Kennedy Center), Annie (Annie, Olney Theater Center), The Sound of Music (Louisa von Trap, Olney Theater Center), The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox, Cockpit in Court), Annie (Annie, Toby’s Dinner Theatre), Oliver! (Ensemble, Toby’s Dinner Theatre), and The Living (Ensemble, Dartmouth College). She is grateful to Professors James Rice and Jamie Horton for their training and encouragement. Cait is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. TOM FORD is happy to be returning to Northern Stage where he appeared as Miss Trunchbull in Matilda. Tom is the book writer of the new musical The Show on the Roof, with music and lyrics by Alex Syiek, scheduled for Spring of 2021 at Boise Contemporary Theater. Broadway: By Jeeves. JELINDA METELUS is absolutely ecstatic to be working at Northern Stage this fall. She is a Dartmouth College ‘22 who is minoring in Theater and African and African-American Studies while majoring in Sociology modified with Education. Theater has always brought Jelinda so much joy whether she is on the stage or not, and she is ready to learn more about the professional world of theater. She acted throughout high school performing in Legally Blonde (2015), The Sound of Music (2016), Shrek the Musical (2017), and The Marriage of Bette and Boo (2017). In 2018, she was awarded Best Featured Actress at the MET Musical Theatre Awards for her role as Dupree in Cry-Baby at the Noble and Greenough School. At Dartmouth, so far, she has performed in Into the Woods (2019), as well as many student works, and is excited for more opportunities to act! Jelinda is excited for this opportunity to work at Northern Stage and cannot wait to get to know everyone as well as all the important roles that go into making a theater run! MAX SAMUELS is delighted to return to Northern Stage, where he has appeared in Oslo and A Christmas Carol. Other New England credits include several productions at the New London Barn, and The Importance of Being Earnest at Portland Stage. He passed his time baking for social justice with his new bakery, Starter VT, and is currently pursuing his MFA in Screenwriting online through University of Southern California. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and partly raised in Miami, FL, he now resides in New York City. Mr. Thompson is a 2018 NAACP award winner for his performance in Fly at the Pasadena Playhouse in California, and a 2012 Drammy Award winner for his performance in the Brother/Sister Plays at Portland Playhouse in Oregon. He has had the pleasure of performing for both the Obamas and the Clintons at the Ford’s Theatre in Washington DC and Off- Broadway in New York City. His short film BLACK? (which he wrote, produced, and co-starred in) won best film at the New York Premiere film festival, and was an official selection at numerous festivals including the International Black Film festival, the Orlando Film Festival, and the Albuquerque Film Festival.
