In this research, 206 species of Ascomycota (2 subdivisions, 7 classes, 20 order, 55 families ve 104 genera) and 5 species of Basidiomycota (1 subdivision, 1 class, 1 ordo, 2 families, 3 genera) total 221 taxa have been identified. Large part of the identified micromycetes (180 species) are lignoxilotrophs, 57 species are fillotrophs and 11 species are carpotrophs. From total 221 taxa 121 have been colour spores. These fungi distributed in xerophilic habitats, on south and south-east slopes. In forests, humidity and shading areas, also on north and north-west slopes were registered the microfungi with colourless or slightly colour spores (100 taxa). The identified micromycetes were registered on 42 host plant species from 16 families. In result 29 genera and 140 species have been identified as new record for Turkey. Also Acremoniula elsadii K. Ekici & E. Hüseyin ve Manoharachariella elsadii F. Selçuk & E. Hüseyin described as new species to science. Key Words: Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, Microfungi, Boztepe, Kırşehir. Mustafaev, N. Yu. Beshko, M. M. Iminova Institute of Botany of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Uzbekistan Corresponding author: I. M. Mustafaev, [email protected] Abstract. A checklist of ascomycetous microfungi of the Nuratau Nature Reserve (Nuratau Mountains, Uzbekistan) was compiled for the first time as a result of field research conducted in 2009–2017. In total, 197 species, 3 varieties and 51 forms of micromycetes belonging to 66 genera and 30 families have been identified. Among them 19 species (Asteromella tanaceti, Camarospori- um achilleae, Diplocarpon alpestre, Diplodia celtidis, Hendersonia ephedrae, Mycosphaerella artemi- siae, Neopseudocercosporella capsellae, Phoma hedysari, P. mororum, Phyllosticta prostrata, P. silenes, P. trifolii, Ramularia trifolii, Rhabdospora eremuri, Selenophoma nebulosa, Septoria cyperi, S. dauci, S. ranunculacearum, S. trifolii) and one form (Erysiphe cichoracearum f. tanaceti) were found for the first time for the mycobiota of Uzbekistan. 30 species of microfungi were recorded on 31 new host plants. The most abundant species are representatives of the cosmopolitan genera Ramularia, Sep- toria, Erysiphe, Leveillula, Mycosphaerella, Phoma, Cytospora, Sphaerotheca, Phyllosticta and Mars- sonina. The annotated checklist includes data on host plant, location, date and collection number of every species. Mycosphere 10(1), 310–489, Doi 10.5943/mycosphere/10/1/7 Abstract Leotiomycetes is regarded as the inoperculate class of discomycetes within the phylum Ascomycota. Taxa are mainly characterized by asci with a simple pore blueing in Melzer’s reagent, although some taxa have lost this character. The monophyly of this class has been verified in several recent molecular studies. However, circumscription of the orders, families and generic level delimitation are still unsettled. This paper provides a modified backbone tree for the class Leotiomycetes based on phylogenetic analysis of combined ITS, LSU, SSU, TEF, and RPB2 loci. In the phylogenetic analysis, Leotiomycetes separates into 19 clades, which can be recognized as orders and order-level clades.

  • Phylogeny and Taxonomy of Obscure Genera of Microfungi
Persoonia 22, 2009: 139–161 www.persoonia.org RESEARCH ARTICLE doi:10.3767/003158509X461701 Phylogeny and taxonomy of obscure genera of microfungi P.W. Crous1, U. Braun2, M.J. Wingfield3, A.R. Wood4, H.D. Shin5, B.A. Summerell6, A.C. Alfenas7, C.J.R. Cumagun8, J.Z. Groenewald1 Key words Abstract The recently generated molecular phylogeny for the kingdom Fungi, on which a new classification scheme is based, still suffers from an under representation of numerous apparently asexual genera of microfungi. In an Brycekendrickomyces attempt to populate the Fungal Tree of Life, fresh samples of 10 obscure genera of hyphomycetes were collected. Chalastospora These fungi were subsequently established in culture, and subjected to DNA sequence analysis of the ITS and LSU Cyphellophora nrRNA genes to resolve species and generic questions related to these obscure genera. Brycekendrickomyces Dictyosporium (Herpotrichiellaceae) is introduced as a new genus similar to, but distinct from Haplographium and Lauriomyces. Edenia Chalastospora is shown to be a genus in the Pleosporales, with two new species, C. ellipsoidea and C. obclavata, phylogeny to which Alternaria malorum is added as an additional taxon under its oldest epithet, C. gossypii. Cyphellophora taxonomy eugeniae is newly described in Cyphellophora (Herpotrichiellaceae), and distinguished from other taxa in the genus. Thedgonia Dictyosporium is placed in the Pleosporales, with one new species, D. streliziae. The genus Edenia, which was Trochophora recently introduced for a sterile endophytic fungus isolated in Mexico, is shown to be a hyphomycete (Pleospo Verrucisporota rales) forming a pyronellea-like synanamorph in culture. Thedgonia is shown not to represent an anamorph of Vonarxia Mycosphaerella, but to belong to the Helotiales.

Shot-hole disease of stone fruits has become a major threat in the wild-fruit forest of the Western Tianshan Mountains. Twenty-five isolates were selected from diseased P. divaricata and P. armeniaca. According to the morphological characteristics of the culture, the 25 isolates were divided into eight morphological groups. Conidia were spindle-shaped, with ovate apical cells and truncated basal cells, with the majority of conidia comprising 3–4 septa, and the conidia had the same shape and color in morphological groups.
