This Registration Document is an unofficial translation of the French Document de Référence, which was filed with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers on Thursday March 29, 2018 pursuant to Article 212- 34 of the AMF General Regulations. The Group is thus positioned as a European leader in terms of traffic expressed in passenger revenue- kilometers, having carried nearly 100 million people across five continents, i.e. 5.6% more than in the previous year. This growth was accompanied by a marked improvement in performance and a significant reinforcement in the Group’s financial structure: in 2017, Air France - KLM generated operating income of €1.5 billion, up by 42% relative to 2016, while net debt was reduced by €2 billion.     AIR FRANCE, LATÉCOÈRE AND UBISOFT UNVEIL THE “LIFI POWER” EXHIBITION AT THE INTERNATIONAL PARIS AIR SHOW Paris, 4 June 2019 – At the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget (Salon du Bourget), Air France, Latécoère and Ubisoft will be trialing their new LiFi (Light Fidelity) technology using light to transmit data and will run an in-flight video game tournament showcasing this technology. LiFi, the next standard for in-flight data transmission, to be showcased at Le Bourget During the International Paris Air Show, Latécoère’s stand (Hall 2a – B254) will feature a full-scale, medium- range Air France cabin mock-up featuring LiFi technology. Visitors at the show will be able to put the speed and reliability of this innovative new technology through its paces in a live demo. Latécoère, a tier 1 partner to major international aircraft manufacturers, has designed a LiFi infrastructure solution enabling entertainment and communication system providers to deliver the best possible in-flight connectivity. This technology offers multiple benefits: • Very high-speed multimedia data throughput (a speed currently 100 times faster than existing WiFi systems); • Less on-board cabling (eliminating copper cables and replacing them with optical systems), leading to overall weight savings for the aircraft and making it more fuel-efficient. It is thanks to the pioneering mindset of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, a major international player in aircraft maintenance, that it is possible to deploy this solution within an Air France Cabin for the first time. LiFi was spotted at an early stage by its cabin modification experts, who then began to think about how to implement this innovative technology on board an aircraft.

It has been almost two years since the tragic crash of Germanwings Flight 9525. The cause of the crash was ruled to be co-pilot’s suicide. A huge media frenzy followed the announcement with numerous ’experts’ in aviation, psychology, and every other imaginable field offering their analysis and advice. What has not been mentioned by the media is that the crash was only one of at least six mysterious airplane crashes in the same geographical region: 1) Germanwings Flight 9525 crashed on March 24, 2015 at 9:41 at 44:28oN; 6:44oE 1,2 . After an unprecedentedly short investigation of less then two days3,4 , it was announced that the mentally sick 28-year-old co-pilot Andreas Lubitz barricaded himself inside the cockpit and deliberately rammed the plane into the Alps. But why would the physically fit and smiling 28-year old co-pilot running marathon(s), as shown on the Internet pictures, who just purchased a brand new car, commit suicide? Those who knew him insisted Lubitz was not suicidal5. Many witnesses reported explosion and smoke before the plane plunged into the Alps and debris was found upstream from the crash site suggesting that at least one piece of fuselage had "been detached from the aircraft before impact"6; which can only happen if the plane exploded in the air. 2) Air France Flight 178 crashed on September 1, 1953 at 23:30 Paris time at practically the same place as the previous flight at 44:29oN; 6:7oE 7 amidst violent storms after "the flight had deviated from the planned course for unknown reasons".
