Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Yekaterinburg), Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (Yekaterinburg), and S. L. Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosiborsk). We invite you to participate in the Workshop-Conference. The scope of the Workshop-Conference covers basic areas of modern function theory and approximation theory and includes classical topics: extremal approximation problems, extremal properties of algebraic and trigonometric polynomials and entire functions, Fourier analysis, the best approximation of operators (Stechkin’s problem), geometrical problems of approximation theory, splines, wavelets, and various applications of approximative methods. Arrival day: August 9, 2021 (Monday) Departure day: August 19, 2021 (Thursday) The period of the conference may change slightly, depending on the summer flight schedule of 2021. Offline conference participants will live in an amazingly beautiful place (in a forest in the mountains on the banks of the Katun River, 70 km from the airport of Gorno-Altaysk. It is planned to organize the delivery of participants from the Gorno-Altaysk airport to the conference site and back not only on the days of arrival and departure. By rail, you can get to the city of Biysk (170 km from the conference place) or the city of Barnaul (330 km from the place), and then by bus in the direction of the Chemal village. For preliminary booking of rooms, we ask all participants of the conference until March 22, 2021, to inform the intended form of your participation (online or offline). New locations of Campanula species are indicated for separate botanical and geographical regions of Altai. The basalts of the Ust’-Sema Formation are enriched in phenocrysts of high-Mg clinopyroxene (Mg# ≤ 94) (20 to 40–50 vol.%) with a high content of Cr2O3 (up to 1.11 wt.%), enclosed in the clinopyroxene–plagioclase microlitic groundmass. In addition, there are minor phenocrysts of saussuritized plagioclase (An49–71), olivine replaced by secondary minerals, amphibole with Mg# = 55.7–68.2, and Cr-spinel with Cr# = 36.2–41.7. Inclusions of Cr-spinel in high-Mg clinopyroxene are richer in Cr (Cr# ≤ 72.8). The basalts of the Ust’-Sema Formation are chemically heterogeneous and are subdivided into two main groups: high-Ca (MgO = 7.98–14.77 wt.% and CaO/Al2O3 = 1.0–1.8) and low-Ca (MgO = = 2.84–9.89 wt.% and CaO/Al2O3 = 0.2–0.9).

If you are looking for an area near a town or village Go to the Index on page 153 and find the alphabetical list of settlements by English name. The Cyrillic name is also given along with the map page number and coordinates (latitude and longitude) where it can be found. Capitals of regions and districts (raiony) are listed along with many other settlements, but only in the vicinity of intact forest landscapes. The reader should not expect to see a city like Moscow listed. Villages that are insufficiently known or very small are not listed and appear on the map only as nameless dots. If you are looking for an administrative region Go to the Index on page 185 and find the list of administrative regions. The numbers refer to the map on the inside back cover. Having found the region on this map, the reader will know which index map to use to search further. If you are looking for the big picture Go to the overview map on page 35. The genus Elymus L., together with wheat, rye, and barley, belongs to the tribe Triticeae. Apart from its economic value, this tribe is characterized by abundance of polyploid taxa formed in the course of remote hybridi­ zation. Single-copy nuclear genes are convenient markers for identification of source genomes incorporated into polyploids. In the present work, a CAPS-marker is developed to distinguish basic St, H, and Y genomes comprising polyploid genomes of Asiatic species of the genus Elymus. The test is based on electrophoretic analysis of restric- tion patterns of a PCR-amplified fragment of the gene coding for beta-amylase. There are about 50Elymus species in Russia, and most of them are supposed to possess one of three haplome combinations, StH, StY and StHY. Boreal StH-genomic species endemic for Russia are the least studied. On the basis of nucleotide sequences from public databases, TaqI restrictase was selected, as it produced patterns of restriction fragments specific for St, H, and Y haplomes easily recognizable in agarose gel.

Molodezhnaya 1, Barnaul, 656011 Russia email: [email protected], [email protected] Received March 26, 2013 − 2− – 2+ 2+ + + − − 3 ⎯ Abstract—The macroelement (HCO3 , SO4 , Cl , Ca , Mg , Na + K , as well as NO3, NO2, and PO4 ) and microelement (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Co, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn, and V) composition of natural waters in different physiographical provinces of the Altai have been studied and characterized. It has been found that the con centrations of dissolved forms of metals in the waters of the examined rivers generally do not exceed the MACwm, though in some cases, they exceed the world averages and depend on the features of water nourish ment of rivers and the concentrations of mineral salts in water. A considerable portion of metals in Altai sur face waters has been found to be transported as a component of suspension, though the specific concentration of metals in suspension decreases with increasing water turbidity. The effect of the structure and properties of the soil cover on the drainage basins of various physiographic provinces of the Altai on surface water chemistry is most distinct in the case of macrocomponents and typomorphic elements (Fe, Mn, Ca), as well as under anthropogenic impact on the watershed.
