When Pierre Peugeot created L’Aventure Peugeot in 1982 his aim was to lay the foundations of a large organisation to serve the industrial history of the family group, which has been a part of French industrial history for over two centuries. L’Aventure Peugeot is the first association created for the preservation of the heritage of one of its makes. It acts for enthusiasts and collectors of all objects bearing the Peugeot Lion badge as well as motorbikes, tools, furniture, fashion, etc. With regard to the motor car L`Aventure Peugeot brings together various affiliated Owners Clubs, whether of a general nature or devoted to a single model, from all over the world. L’Aventure Peugeot provides support for its Clubs in their promotional activities. It helps to organise National and International meetings like the International L`Aventure Peugeot Meeting (IAPM) as well as attending Peugeot events in many different Countries. The Individual members of L’Aventure Peugeot and Affiliated Owners Clubs also benefit from accessing products and services provided by L`Aventure Peugeot at an advantageous price. L’Aventure Peugeot museum in Sochaux is the cornerstone of this association and its workshops are a real magnet for enthusiasts. The museum’s collection tells the story of the richness of the Peugeot makes vast and diverse industrial history, the Museum displays represent the eclectic nature of this history through documents, everyday objects and of course modern and historic Peugeot vehicles. The displays evolve to represent the many anniversaries of the Peugeot models and are housed in a modern 6000m² Museum setting. The museum with its Brasserie, its meeting rooms, reception venues and its auditorium is a flagship destination for all lovers of the Make symbolised of course by the iconic Peugeot Lion badge and its many evolutions. ©Olivier Tisserand CITROËN HERITAGE . Citroën Heritage through the Citroën & DS France Association and the Citroën International Association brings together lovers of the double chevron make which celebrates its centenary in 2019. Citroën quickly became very popular which led to numerous Owners clubs springing up all over the world. The richness of the make’s history and the dynamism of the clubs deserved a major gesture of recognition so in 2001 Pierre Peugeot opened the Citroën Conservatoire in Aulnay-sous- Bois in the Northern suburb of Paris, which has a preservation workshop, and houses a large collection retracing the story of one of the most innovative makes in the history of vehicle manufacturing. On display in the main hall of the Conservatoire are more than 300 road-going and racing cars as well as prototypes, concept cars and utilitarian vehicles. This organization looks after the Conservatoire whose exceptional collection is now open to the public. It is possible to book tickets online at: https://www.laventurepeugeotcitroends.fr/visiter-conservatoire/ . As a sign of this collective dynamic that serves the history of the double chevron, its heritage and its collectors, the Citroën & DS France Association with the help of Citroën Heritage, L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS and the support of the Groupe PSA are holding a massive event celebrating Citroën’s centenary, at an International get-together for lovers of the make on 19-20-21 July 2019 in La Ferté Vidame, France. DS HÉRITAGE . DS Héritage is now the third marque represented by L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS. As an iconic and prestigious marque the DS name has recently been proudly added to our title. DS Héritage brings together collectors, owners clubs and associations devoted to the ID, DS and SM models. These three iconic models are now widely accepted as landmarks in the history of the motor car because of their iconic design which was a revolution at the time and also due to their technical innovation. The exclusive, innovative characteristics of the ID, DS and SM were the birth of the DNA of the DS Automobiles marque we see today. Through meetings, events, rallies, advice and help for maintenance and restoration and the supply of parts and documentation, DS Héritage provides a whole range of services to enthusiasts across the world. DS HÉRITAGE L’AVENTURE AUTOMOBILE POISSY . L’Aventure Automobile Poissy preserves everything connected with the history of the PSA production site in Poissy and the legendary models produced there. Its services and workshop, run by volunteers, provide technical and administrative support to collectors of all the makes, whether current or dormant, of the Groupe PSA. Founded in 1984 , L’Aventure Automobile Poissy record all the events that marked the history of the Poissy car factory, which began production in 1938. Almost all the Groupe PSA makes have, at one time or another, seen one of their models roll off the production lines of Poissy: Peugeot and Citroën of course, Ford SAF Poissy, and earlier makes like Mathis and Matford as well as Simca, Donnet et Zedfel, Talbot, Clément and Darracq. L’Aventure Automobile Poissy preserves not only a collection of cars from the Poissy factory, but also the equipment used to manufacture them. Thus, it preserves a large number of archives and tools. www.caapy.net ARCHIVES OF TERRE BLANCHE .
