We also regularly ask carers of people with dementia to tell us about their experiences using our dementia carers’ survey.

We have a ‘Frail Elderly Pathway’ team who specifically work with older people to facilitate the discharge process. This includes patients with dementia and their carers.

The Trust is signed up to the Dementia Action Alliance Group and supports the Butterfly Scheme in the hospital which is a care plan document.

Twiddlemuff distraction therapy products are also available for patients on our wards.

Evening Café A monthly evening social group with Cue Gardens entertainment and refreshments aimed at Stadium Mills younger people living with dementia and Stadium Road their carers or those who are young at heart.
