Free cross-site Pick-up points: The bus runs from the bus stop between the south entrance bus service and women and children’s entrances at James Cook and the bus stop close to the A&E entrance at the Friarage. Departures Arrivals A cross-site bus service is being piloted for parents and relatives following changes to children’s 8am: depart FHN 8.40am: arrive JCUH and maternity services at the 9am: depart JCUH 9.40am: arrive FHN Friarage Hospital. A comfortable 25 seater bus will 10am: depart FHN 10.40am: arrive JCUH travel between the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton and the James Cook 11am: depart JCUH 11.40am: arrive FHN University Hospital in Middlesbrough ten times a day. Midday: depart FHN 12.40pm: arrive JCUH This is a free service offered Monday to 1pm: depart JCUH 1.40pm: arrive FHN Friday (excluding public holidays), and is available for use by hospital patients 2pm: depart FHN 2.40pm: arrive JCUH and their families (not just those people accessing children’s or maternity services) 3pm: depart JCUH 3.40pm: arrive FHN and staff. The bus service has recently been extended 4pm: depart FHN 4.40pm: arrive JCUH and will run until 31 March 2016 and during this time, its usage and benefits 5pm: depart JCUH 5.40pm: arrive FHN will be monitored to determine the future service.
