These letters bring back bad memories and old secrets that begin to threaten his career and break up his family. Written by Douglas Son of No One the-movie-guy. I'm surprised it received so many bad reviews. I think it is a great movie, very well acted, strong and realistic, no sugar coating here. Tension builds up so well and the ending is very powerful. She keeps him from becoming Son of No One destruction of all. Very nice to see Acheron, Styx and others come together to help Cadegan and we learn the new battles the Dark Hunters will be fighting in future. Not as gripping as some of her previous Dark Hunter books. I Son of No One know if she's run out of ideas or she's just pressured to keep pumping out book after book but I'm no longer going to be buying books from this author. It starts out decently. The heroine, broke, divorced but able to laugh and joke and be sarcastic falls through a mirror and finds herself in the fey version of hell. There she's saved from mutant zombie like Son of No One by the hero, a half breed demon who's been banished to the forgotten realm by his step brother. In the world of grey, the woman's a beacon of light that brings happiness into his world. He's sweet, insecure and freaking sexy as hell and it doesn't take long for the heroine to fall into bed with him. Literally, that night they meet, she's on him like white on rice, not that I blame her but its was comically rushed and forced. They spend a day or so together, learning about the Son of No One tortured soul and brutal childhood and the fact that no one loves him and blah blah blah. Every single hero is a cookie cutter of the last. It's old. For god sakes change it up already. Now, up until this point this book was okay. I could deal with it. Then, it's in a terrible car accident and everyone dies. No joke, the two characters do a body swap What the hell I thought only Naruto fan fiction writers did body swaps!!!! No, apparently not. The author thought it a good idea to put the man in the Son of No One body and vice versa, then Honesty, I had to stop there and did not finish the story. Plus the writing was dull and unimaginative. The hero lost the charming mispronunciation and phrasing that he had in the beginning and suddenly started speaking like a valley girl. This book has pretty much sealed my Son of No One of interest in this series and this author. It's sad. Sort of like an end of an era. Who's next? Eden00 May 14, Very fast read. Yeah, looks hefty, but has a chapter or more for her next The League book. I don't read that series. Also the formatting was very generous.
