Announcement of the Fourth International Grassland Agriculture Conference (4th IGAC) (First Circulation)

Grassland-based agriculture is one of the major production systems worldwide, which consists of pre-plant production (e.g. nature conservation, water catchment, turf and sporting facilities, tourism), plant production, animal production and post-biological production (e.g. farm service, herbage and animal product processing, marketing activities). Grassland agriculture plays a critical role in contributing to global food security, conservation of nature, providing ecological services to people and mitigation of greenhouse gasesemission. However, the global grassland agriculture currently faces a range of growing and emerging challenges including degradation of natural grassland and arable land, environmental pollution, food security and safety, limitation of water resource supply, change of global climate, and unbalanced rural development among regions and countries. Solutions to these challenges requires international collaboration through innovative scientific research to improve the sustainable development of grassland agriculture. We invite you to join us for the 4th International Grassland Agriculture Conference (4th IGAC) that will be held in University, Lanzhou, , 25-27 September 2018. We welcome papers with broad range of updates around the conference theme “Sustainable Development of Grassland Agriculture” that cover the full spectrum of grassland science underway worldwide. Guidelines for paper submission Paper length: not exceed 3 pages Manuscript: font in Times New Roman, 12 points; line spacing in 18 points All papers should include title, authors and their affiliations, abstract, keywords, introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, and conclusion.
