Explanatory Note – Village Allocations Policies (SWDP 59, SWDP 60 & SWDP 61)
During the Stage 2c examination hearings the Inspector and representatives of the South Worcestershire Councils agreed that it would be practical to amalgamate the three policies covering site allocations in the Category 1, 2 and 3 villages (i.e. SWDP 59, 60 and 61 respectively).
This Appendix does not form part of the Schedule of Main Modifications but is designed to aid the reader in understanding the evolution of each individual village allocation and the indicative number of dwellings allocated to same, from when the site first appeared in the Plan process to the present time.
Sites in black in the tables below are ‘submission sites’, i.e. they were included in the submission document (CD001); sites in purple and underlined are ‘addition sites’, i.e. they were added to the Plan as part of the Proposed Modifications in October 2014 (CD272 / EX601); and sites in red and struck-through are proposed to be deleted.
Some of the names of the submission sites have changed slightly since they first appeared in the submission document (CD001). These changes are minor in nature and either correct errors in the submission document or were made to make the site name more appropriate to its location. Such changes are included in the tables below, with deleted text shown in red and struck-through and additional text shown in purple and underlined.
