I am co-organizing a monthly talk series for Boston area scientists to foster inter-institutional crosstalk. We have won funding for this series throughout 2014. See also http://www.gearsclub.org.

During my Ph. D. I was Visiting Speakers Officer in the Student Voice Committee at the JIC. I hosted student- invited, foreign visiting speakers at JIC, and also represented the students in a student-faculty committee.

I am an active peer reviewer for several scientific journals.
