Between November 18 and 22 of this year, the colleges of Durham University in north eastern England will host The Collegiate Way Conference.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together representatives from colleges worldwide and for them to share experiences of collegiate life, to identify and to spread good practice. This conference is relevant to all us with a professional interest in the establishment, sustaining and development of collegiate forms of University life and education.

The developing conference program includes: • three academic days comprising keynote and other plenary sessions, symposia and parallel paper session and workshops • field visits to colleges of the university • participation in college life comprising dining at formal dinners, joining Senior Common Room activities, attendance at cultural events, etc A social program bookends the conference and will take advantage of Durham University’s status as a World Heritage Site.
