Advised students on course selection and monitored their progress. Eating Disorders: Nutrition Therapy in the Recovery Process, a 550 page book co-authored with Dan W. Reiff, M.P.H., that addresses the etiology and treatment of eating disorders and includes an extensive review of the literatures, Aspen, 1992, revised 2007. It’s What’s Inside that Counts, Eating Disorders Awareness and Prevention, a series of three puppet scripts for elementary school children written to help prevent the development of eating disorders, 1997. Perseverance Overcomes, a chapter in the book Full Lives: Women Who Have Feed Themselves from Food and Weight Obsessions, edited by Lindsey Hall, Gurze Books, 1993. Are You Dying to be Thin?, a questionnaire designed to indicate tendencies toward an eating disorder that is used nationally by many eating disorder clinics and professionals, 1982, revised 1992.
