Welcome to the March issue of the Greek American Times. ☻ Crayola markers and colored pencils February was a fun-filled month for our residents and staff. Love was definitely in the air around our facility. We enjoyed some Valentine’s related crafts, helped decorate our home in ☻ Scented bath oil red and pink for the holiday. We also had a special party for all of our residents with the help ☻ Bingo prizes of our Auxiliary ladies who provided an ice cream social with balloons and flowers. A gift was given to each one of our residents with love from the staff of the Activity Department. ☻ Makeup ☻ Hair products The fun continued on our outings, as we headed out to some of our monthly favorite spots ☻ Accessories including, Walmart for some bargain shopping, Chinese Buffet, Papagalino for Greek Coffee and Loukoumades, North Branch, Butterfield and Demetri’s Restaurants, who always ☻ Toiletry provide a delicious meal for our residents. On March 25, 1821, Bishop Germanos of Patras raised the flag of revolution over the Monastery of Agia Lavra in the Peloponnese. The date of March 25 is also a religious holiday, the Annunciation Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday. It is also known as Mardi Gras of the Virgin Mary when the Archangel Gabriel appeared to Day or Shrove Day.
