On Jan- uary 30th, Mazda’s 100th anniversary, we are joining this exclusive club – and what a hundred years it has been! In this time, we as a company have accomplished a lot. Mazda has turned itself from a manufacturer of cork products into an internationally recognised and successful independent automotive manufacturer. We have revitalised the rotary engine and have developed a host of our own ground-breaking technologies, including the latest Skyactiv-X, which is pushing the limits of the internal combustion engine and is already a great success. We have established a unique design language that marries Japanese tradition with contemporary style; human craftsmanship with modern production procedures. We have launched iconic mod- els which have been delighting fans for decades now. HERITAGE, LEGACY AND 100TH ANNIVERSARY TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS ACCOMPLISHMENTS SPECIAL EDITION SAFETY A CULTURE OF INNOVATION From its humble beginnings as a cork manufacturer in the 1920s, to its first motorized vehicle, the Mazda-Go, Mazda has cultivated an engineering culture of creating products that delight its users. After World War II, Mazda’s manufacturing expertise expanded to cover instruments of mobility for a developing nation. HERITAGE, LEGACY AND 100TH ANNIVERSARY TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS ACCOMPLISHMENTS SPECIAL EDITION SAFETY This culminated in its first passenger car, the Mazda R360 Coupe. Mazda took on the challenge to build, innovate, and defy convention by creating a car that utilized the latest in engine and transmission technology at that time. Revealed in 1960, the Mazda 360 Coupe was so advanced that it broke industry convention and heralded the future of Mazda automotive engineering prowess for passenger cars. This is the Mazda DNA. Founded in passion, nurtured with dedication. HERITAGE, LEGACY AND 100TH ANNIVERSARY TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS ACCOMPLISHMENTS SPECIAL EDITION SAFETY Defying convention is not new to Mazda. In 1967, Mazda unveiled the Cosmo Sport 110S, the first volume production rotary engine-powered sports car. The tenacity, resolve and unquenchable passion shown by Mazda engineers to overcome the challenges brought about by the unconventional motor has become ingrained in the company’s ethos until today. HERITAGE, LEGACY AND 100TH ANNIVERSARY TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS ACCOMPLISHMENTS SPECIAL EDITION SAFETY Introducing technology is key to Mazda’s success. Proving it works, sealed its unassailable reputation. In 1991, after 18 years of competing in the highest level of sports car racing, Mazda took the overall win in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans with the rotary- powered Mazda 787B. -

Mazda Sondermodelle „100 Years” 100 Jahre Mazda – Eine Einzigartige Geschichte
MAZDA SONDERMODELLE „100 YEARS” 100 JAHRE MAZDA – EINE EINZIGARTIGE GESCHICHTE 100 Jahre Mazda bedeutet 100 Jahre Mut zum Anderssein, 100 Jahre Challenger Spirit, 100 Jahre Innovationskraft. Entdecken Sie die „100 YEARS“-Sondermodelle.
