Sun & Moon Show Day 1** May 17 Honolulu Our vacation starts by boarding an international flight bound for Seoul, the capital of South . Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.

Day 2**May 18 Incheon – Seoul We arrive at Incheon International Airport where an Air and Sea Travel representative will greet us and transfer us to our hotel.

Day 3**May 19 Seoul (B, L, D) This morning, let’s experience a one hour body massage at the K-medi Center. The Center promotes the excellence and safety of traditional K-medi cosmetics, Oriental herbal medicine, health foods, tea, daily goods, and health related services such as thermal massage beds, herbal warm baths, and aroma therapy through exhibitions, lectures and experiences of various themes. The center plays a pivotal role in making Seoul Yangnyeong Market the hub of the K-medi industry by guaranteeing the effectiveness of its many products and services. After lunch, we will proceed to Insadong Cultural Street, a focal point of Korean traditional culture and crafts and one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul. Stores in Insadong specialize in a wide variety of goods that can be purchased in Korea. Then we will visit The Dongdaemun Design Plaza, also called the DDP, a major urban development landmark in Seoul. Dongdaemun Open Market, a large commercial district with traditional markets and shopping centers, is a popular shopping and tourist destination that has been designated a 'Special Tourism Zone' since 2002.

Day 4**May 20 Seoul – Nami Island – Gangneung (B, L, D) After breakfast, we will move to Nami Island, just 70 kilometers north-east from Seoul. It is a popular, lovely, and romantic place for Koreans. We will take a Ferry to the half-moon shaped isle which is famous for beautiful tree lined roads and often used as a filming site for well-known Korean dramas such as “Winter Sonata”. Afterward, we will transfer to Gangneung city, nestled on the east side of 's longest mountain range, . Geologically isolated from most parts of the country, the city was able to preserve its own distinctive culture, and to date it has a tendency of being politically and culturally more conservative. Gangneung was the venue of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. With a decent bar scene, the town is a good place to linger for a few days if you’re looking for an experience that’s off the beaten track without being too small-town.

Day 5**May 21 Gangneung (B, L, D) Today, we will explore the distinctive Korean culture by visiting the 500 years old Ojukheon House, built by the black bamboo forest in the middle of Dynasty. The area has a climatically and geographically unique environment for black bamboo to thrive. The intact and well preserved house was the birthplace of the Neo-Confucian scholar, and his mother, Shin Saimdang. It was designated the national treasure No. 165 in 1963. Shin Saimdang was a wise mother, good wife, and a great artist whose paintings have been handed down and highly praised. Her life became the theme for the Korean TV drama, ‘Saimdang, Light’s Diary’. They are the first mother and son in the world whose portraits are on currency bills. As a symbol of a great mother in Korea, Shin Saimdang is on the 50,000 won (bill) and designated as a monetary figure in 2009; as the Master Neo-Confucian scholar and politician in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty, Yulgok Yi I is on the 5,000 won (bill) and designated as a monetary figure in 1972. After lunch, we will move to Seongyojang Old House, a typical upper-class residence and designated the No. 5 National Important Cultural Property in 1965. This beautiful 300 year-old traditional house consists of 99 rooms and remains intact in harmony with the beautiful natural environment. Seonkyojang was ranked number one in the list of 'Top 10 Korean Traditional Houses of the 20th Century' and is a popular place to shoot movies and TV dramas.

Day 6**May 22 Gangneung – PyeongChang (B, L, D) Today, we will transfer to PyeongChang, the host city of the . Jeongangwon is known as the institute of Traditional Korean Cuisine. Today, we will have an opportunity to make the Royal Cuisine Bulgogi and Bibimbap for lunch. This afternoon will be spent at Woljeongsa Temple, located in a forested valley east of Mountain. The thousand-year-old fir tree forest is a good place for a stroll and an opportunity to be one with Mother Nature. Lotus Lanterns are symbols of light, wisdom and compassion that dispel the dark and suffering of the world and believed to bring enlightenment to those who are in pain and are lost. Let’s make a Lotus Lantern for you and your family. After that, we will observe a Korean Tea Ceremony. For centuries, Seon meditators have enjoyed tea drinking as a means of reflecting upon themselves and nature. It is said that tea drinking affords the opportunity to quietly appreciate the tea fragrance, color and beauty; and by striving for truth in this, tea drinking can lead one to the world of enlightenment, thereby making the concentration in tea drinking a form of Seon in itself. This gave rise to the saying, "Seon and tea are the same flavor." You can also chat with monks at the temple.

Day 7**May 23 PyeongChang – Seoul (B, L, D) Today, we will return to Seoul and head to ICE Gallery, the world’s first indoor ice sculpture gallery that’s open year-round. We will have an enjoyable time at the Trick Eye Museum, a new concept of exhibition space where culture and entertainment are combined. We can explore 3D optical illusion paintings and installations here. Next, explore shopping at Daiso, a dollar shop that offers various quality products. Tonight, we will enjoy a Korean Performance -- Sun & Moon, which is a gugak show featuring classic Korean instruments and talented female musicians.

Day 8**May 24 Seoul (B) Today, please enjoy leisure time on your own.

Day 9** May 25 Seoul – Incheon Honolulu (B) After breakfast, we will continue our tour filled with South Korea’s culture. We will first visit Hanbok Studio to put on the colorful and beautiful Hanbok (traditional costume) and head to Gyeongbokgung Palace to experience wearing a Hanbok and taking pictures, at the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and one of the largest of five palaces in Seoul with a 600 year history. National Folk Museum of Korea, a national museum of South Korea, is located within the grounds of the Gyeongbokgung Palace and uses replicas of historical objects to illustrate the history of traditional life of the Korean people. In the afternoon, we will move to Myeongdong, one of the Seoul’s main shopping and tourism districts for last minute shopping. In the evening, we will transfer to the airport for our return flight home ending our fantastic journey in Korea.
