    Dear Friends, There is nothing more tragic than the suffering of a child. Each year, approximately 120,000 Pennsylvania children receive child-welfare services. More than 3,000 children are victims of child abuse, and many more experience domestic or sexual violence that fall outside the official definition of child abuse.
