iOS 8 Downloads iOS 8 changed the way that files download to your iPad or iPhone. Files will no longer automatically open after they are downloaded. The files will download to the Files on Device section in FileMaker Go 13 but you will now need to open the installer or updater file by tapping it to install and update files. If you are installing an update, you should first close the file you are trying to update. It is recommended to make a back up copy of the file you are trying to update in case something unexpectantly happens during the update process (backup directions are on page 2). Here are the steps to install a file to your iPad/iPhone.

Open and go to www.psfe.com to find the appropriate download link.

You might see a blue line in the address bar to indicate the file has started to download. You might also see a spinning wheel in the upper left corner. The download might take up to 30 to 40 seconds to download. Tap the download link for the file you are downloading. If you are trying to download an update, make sure you tap the link to download the update instead of the new installation.

If FileMaker Go has a file open, tap on the double squares in Tap “Open in the upper left corner FileMaker…” and then tap Home.

This will take you to FileMaker Go
