Modern psychology is not only a fundamental science, but also a field of professional activity of psychologists, aimed at improving human mental resources and adaptive capacity, harmonization of mental development, health care, overcoming of illnesses and psychological rehabilitation. Mental health problems are the focus of the psychology branches recognized by the entire world psychological community - neuropsychology and psychopathology, as well as new areas - psychology of corporeality (psychosomatics), abnormal ontogeny psychology, psychological correction, health psychology. The International Conference "Psychology and Mental Health" is aimed at the generalization and dissemination of the achievements of psychological sciences and the development of a consolidated position in the field of mental health care. The objectives of the Conference include: Discussion of innovative approaches, methods and best practices in the field of mental health care. Presentation of the best scientific and practical achievements of psychology in the field of mental health care. Protection of child and adolescent mental health is particularly important at the present time, marked by the rapid pace of life, the huge information load, the global economic and political crisis. According to WHO, about 20% of children and adolescents in the world have mental disorders, about half of which start at the age of 14. In the structure of diseases and disabilities, the first place belongs to mental disorders. Depression occurs in almost every fifth teenager. Among drug users, young people account for 70%.
