In Lake Park’s fall athletic program, 1 in 5 students appeared on an athletic roster for a total participation of 563 Lancers. For these fall student athletes, 89 individuals achieved the prestigious DuPage Valley Conference (DVC) Academic All Conference honor by maintaining an overall GPA of 4.5 or higher. Kathie’s late husband, Bob Chambers, was a member of the Police Department Citizen Volunteers for over 5 years. The trailer was dedicated to the memory of Bob Chambers. Bob was a valuable member of the Citizen Volunteer program and was awarded the VIPS Gold Standard President’s Volunteer Service Award. He will greatly be missed.
