Science Division In the spring semester of 1991, I had to pass my last required course in my education major at Judson College: Instructional Technology. It was a two hour course that met at 8 AM on Tuesday's and Thursday's for the last half of the semester. I was not excited about this opportunity as I did not own a computer and had just bought my first CD player a month earlier. West Chicago Community High School thanks parents for all the support they give their students. On November 17th and 18th, 573 parents joined us at parent-teacher conferences to discuss the progress of their student. Conferences and other communications between school and home is essential to the success of our students. With first semester coming to an end, it is an important time for students. We encourage parents to discuss school with their students and monitor grades through PowerSchool. After the Christmas break, which we hope will be filled with joy for all our families, students will return to complete semester 1 final exams. Semester 1 finals are a chance for students to show they have mastered the essential skills and knowledge in each course. Finals are also an important part of the grade in each of the student's classes. Students should ensure they are preparing for finals. A list of study tips for students can be found at: More...
