Mini Bus Transportation Charges Get Out of the House bus will cost $1 each way Shopping bus and Medical bus will cost $2 each way

Payment Procedure - Purchase a $20 punch card from Activities. The mini bus driver will punch the card upon your usage for the correct denomination. The driver will carry no cash. Only punch cards will be accepted by the driver as payment. If you are unable to come to the Activities Desk to purchase your card, please mail your check for $20 to H.V. Activities, 11 Heritage Way, Southbury, CT 06488. A punch card will then be mailed to you.

Physicians Transport Service – Hours for transportation are available for Southbury doctor appointments, Monday – Friday between 9:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. The last pick-up from doctor’s office is no later than 3:15 p.m. You may schedule your medical appointment one week in advance, the latest being the day before by noon. Cost is $2 each way. Call Activities Office 264-9644 x221

Get Out Of The House – Mini bus transport for H.V. Activities - buildings serviced include the Activities Building, Fireside, Lodge, Meeting House, River Garden, Pools 1-4, Winship Barn, Stable Studio, Heritage Resort, Friendly’s Restaurant, The Deli, HV Barber Shop and the Southbury Public Library. Transportation is available daily, Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Call by noon the day before to arrange for transportation and our friendly driver will pick you up at your residence. Call the Activities Office 264-9644 x221. Home pick-ups begin at 8:45 a.m. – last home drop-off at 3:45 p.m. Cost is $1 each way.

H.V. Mini Bus Schedule – Monday through Friday in the mornings the bus will go to Southbury for shopping, (any grocery store, CVS, Walgreens, Post Office, bank of your choice, Kmart Plaza). Unit pick-ups begin at 9:00 a.m. To reserve a seat on the shopping bus, please call the Activities Office at 264-9644 x221 the morning of when you wish to use the bus. Call between 8:15 - 8:40 a.m. Cost is $2 each way.

Mini Bus Passengers – This service is intended to be a convenience for the residents and is not to be used as a taxi service. Passengers may be dropped off and picked up at the following locations: Southbury - Banks, Town Library, Pharmacies, Post Office and Supermarkets (Monday-Friday / Mornings).

Policy For Mini Bus Stops - Passengers must limit their destinations to TWO STOPS. The last pick-up point will be the supermarkets. The pick-up time will be one hour from drop-off time. If you need to go to the bank also, you must go to the bank first and then you will be dropped off at the supermarket but will be picked up from the supermarket at the original appointed time. There is a maximum of 3 bags per resident allowed on the bus if there are more than 5 people on the bus. Please be on time and be courteous of your fellow residents.

Medical Transport Bus Be Well Bus-Waterbury Hospital 203-573-7711 No Charge Transport you to & from medical appointments (including blood work, x-rays and special tests) at Waterbury Hospital and participating physicians located near the hospital (check with your doctor). Please call two weeks in advance of your appointment. For your return trip you must present the Be Well Bus driver with a ticket provided by your participating physician.

MATV / RADIO SERVICES

FM Radio and TV reception are poor in the Southbury area. The developer of the Village decided to improve reception for the Village through a master antenna system with connections in each unit. The Master Association has continued to maintain and to improve this system. This service is included as part of your common expense assessment…no extra charge. For service problems, please call 264-9644.

In addition to the analog lineup listed, there are also several digital channels on our system that require a digital TV to decode: Channel 3 WFSB CBS from Hartford 4 channels: 3-11 HD, 3-13, 3-14. Channel 21 WLIW from Long Island 3 channels: 21-1 HD, 21-2, 21-3.
