Tour Details and Description

The most beautiful corners of Salzkammergut

Discover the highlights of the Salzkammergut within one week: from the hotel/restaurant ‚Weisse Rössl’ in St. Wolfgang up to the alpine pastures above lake Wolfgangsee and onwards to the venerable Ausseerland, embraced by dozens of mountain tops of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage ‚Dachstein’ region. Finally a trip to Hallstatt, the most striking and unusual little town on a lake in the world. The Salzkammergut is characterised by rugged and lovely peaks and here and there a small lake is situated at the foot of a mountainside. Lonely paths lead through the varied nature scenery. It is worth taking a break and enjoying the views into the distance and internalising the beauty of what you can see. The Ausseerland, surrounded by mountains and only

accessible over saddles, is a very special beauty spot in the Salzkammergut.

Tour character: Level 2

Most of the time you walk on pasture paths and on well-maintained footpaths with fantastic views. We recommend a good basic fitness level for walking days of up to 5 ,5 hours. Some of the hikes can be

shortened or extended according to your wishes. This tour is perfect to enjoy the highlights of the Salzkammergut in all its facets.

Included in the Walking Tour: • 6 overnight stays in 4* 'charm' accommodation, breakfast included Luggage transfer Welcome meeting Ferry Wolfgangsee Boat trip Wolfgangsee Bus from Wolfgangsee to Bad Ischl Boat trip Hallstättersee
