Last year the Women’s Association’s Adopt an Artwork project started with A Morning Walk by the Yarra by John Mather and the Members were delighted to see this lovely work return to the Gallery looking beautiful. This year, we have ‘adopted’ Water at Last by Jan Scheltema.

In 2010 we completed the 10th year of Last Sunday of the Month concerts with a tribute to the legendary Ballarat musician Ellinor Morcom. Pat Gleeson brought past and present students to play at her last concert - we shall miss her contribution to the Gallery. We had our usual variety of artists appearing at our concerts including students from Ballarat High School, cellist Lachlan Dent, the Ballarat and Ashbourne Quartet, violinist Sarah Walters, the West Wind ensemble, Ballarat Arts Foundation prizewinners Jack Stacey and Robert Muirhead, graduating students of the We are experiencing yet another busy and productive year. exhibition.
