Victoria Monday, January 21 at 3 P.M WXXI-TV/HD | WORLD | CREATE | AM1370 | CLASSICAL 91.5 | WRUR 88.5 | THE LITTLE | WXXI-KIDS PUBLIC TELEVISION & PUBLIC RADIO FOR ROCHESTER JANUARY 2019 WXXI’s annual initiative with Al Sigl Community of Agencies kicks off Monday, January 14 with a week of special programming designed to stimulate dialogue about people of all abilities and motivate us to be a more inclusive community. The centerpiece of Dialogue on Disability week is a FREE screening of PERFECTLY NORMAL FOR ME on Tuesday, January 15, 6pm at the Little Theatre (240 East Avenue). In this intimate verité documentary, four charismatic kids strive for acceptance in a world that is often, at best, indifferent to them. You’ll meet Alexandria, Jake, Caitlin and Veronica, ages 5 to 15, who want to change the conversation. They reveal in their own words what it’s like to deal with the literal ups and downs of a challenged life. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director Catherine Tambini via Skype. No tickets required. Seats are first come, first served. Check inside for more special programming, including an EXITED listening session at Al Sigl on January 14, plus visit WXXI.org/dod for a complete schedule. Their emotional charge, their documentary power, their immediacy and universality set them apart from other archival documents. Used well, they provide an asset for any financial institution. This volume features articles from 17 financial institutions in eleven different countries. Almost 300 photographs provide glimpses of institutional practice over a span of 150 years. The photographs reveal stories about staff members, office buildings, and money; and they tell us about fashion, cultural movements, financial and industrial innovation, poverty, gender, colonization, leisure, and much more. This issue is the first of a series, and part of a wider project to explore the connections between finance and photography. eabh would like to invite its member and partner eabh institutions to join in by contributing to the second volume of the series.

  • Our New Addition from June 2010: the Sea Cloud Hussar Sailing Dreams
Our new addition from June 2010: the SEA CLOUD HUssAR Sailing Dreams SEA CLOUD HUssAR SEA CLOUD II and SEA CLOUD WINDJAMMER CRUISES DECEMBER 2009 – MARCH 2011 Setting a course for the future – with five ships and five stars. SDreams are inspiring, helping us to reach distant horizons. The sea stirs up a longing for faraway lands, whilst the wind seems to whisper over and over again, “let’s go!” It was sails that once led mankind to discover new shores. And for the past 30 years, they have been leading the way for us as well – over the water to the most beautiful ports, and, above all, to finding a place in your hearts. For many years now, the SEA CLOUD and the SEA CLOUD II have been cruising all over the world. Meanwhile, the finest rivers in Europe provide the waterways for our two river yachts, the RIVER CLOUD and the RIVER CLOUD II. Over the years, our passion for the exceptional has never faltered. Now, our third tall sailing ship is under construction, bringing with it a real breath of fresh air. In 2010 the SEA CLOUD HUSSAR will herald the start of a new era. A new dimension in luxury sailing is just beginning. Our course will take us into a future that we look forward to sharing with you. Our sailing dreams are going on a grand voyage. Discover a way of travelling that offers a highly personal touch and an exclusive five-star atmosphere. We invite you to join us – on the following pages and on board.
