‘LOVE’S EVERLASTING COURAGE’ CAST BIOS CHERYL LADD (Irene) – Possessing an effervescent personality and embodying the beauty, grace, class and charm of old Hollywood, its no wonder Cheryl Ladd remains one of Tinseltown’s favorite actresses. Since her big break as one of the beloved “Charlie’s Angels,” Ladd’s career has traversed television, film and Broadway, and she is still very much a triple- threat. On primetime, Ladd most recently appeared on the CBS hit show “CSI: Miami.” The actress played a socialite involved with younger men who were murdered by her jealous husband. Prior to that, Ladd had a recurring role on the NBC drama “Las Vegas” playing Jillian Deline, the loving wife of James Caan and mother to vixen Molly Sims. Born and raised in Huron, South Dakota, Ladd spent her childhood focused on singing, dancing and acting. While in high school, Ladd sang with a local group called "The Music Shop," which brought her to Los Angeles after graduation. In just a short time, Ladd got her first break as the singing voice of Melody on the cartoon series, "Josie and the Pussycats." Armed with talent and perseverance, Ladd quickly added a string of significant credits to her resume, including the comedy/variety series, "The Ken Berry WOW Show," with Steve Martin and Teri Garr. Then, Ladd was cast in the role of Kris Munroe on "Charlie's Angels" and was instantly catapulted into stardom, spending four years on the show. While still on the series, she developed and starred in the ABC telefilm, “When She Was Bad," which dealt with the harsh realities of child abuse. Ladd's other numerous television credits include guest star roles on the sitcoms “Hope and Faith,” “Jesse” and a recurring role on “Two Guys and a Girl.” Additional television credits include “Eve’s Christmas,” "Grace Kelly," "Perfect Little Angels," the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “Though None Go With Me” and "Every Mother's Worst Fear" for the USA Network. Feature film credits include “Baggage” with Barry Bostwick, “A Dog of Flanders,” opposite Jon Voight, “Permanent Midnight” with Ben Stiller and “Poison Ivy” with Tom Skerritt and Drew Barrymore. In her spare time, Ladd keeps busy writing and developing new projects. She co-authored a children’s book, The Adventures of Little Nettie Windship, with her husband of over twenty years, Brian Russell. An avid golfer, Ladd unveiled Token Chick: A Woman’s Guide to Golfing with the Boys in 2006, an autobiographical book recounting her experiences in the sport of golf. She is an ambassador for Childhelp USA - one of the largest national non-profit organizations dedicated to research, prevention and treatment of child abuse, and was the recipient of the Woman of the World Award from Childhelp USA in 1987. ### BRUCE BOXLEITNER (Lloyd) – One of Hollywood’s enduring leading men, Bruce Boxleitner has most recently completed “Area 51,” an independent feature for producer Moshe Diamant. Boxleitner reprised his star-making role as Alan Bradley in “TRON: Legacy” with Jeff Bridges to be released in 2010. He has appeared on NBC’s “Heroes” as the recurring character Senator Robert Malden, guest starred on the hit NBC show “Chuck,” and starred in the PAX TV series, “Young Blades,” in addition to the features “Saving Emily” for Lifetime Channel and “Snakehead Terror” for Sci Fi Channel. He also starred in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “Falling in Love with the Girl Next Door.” In addition to his extensive body of television work, Boxleitner has co-starred in many motion pictures including “The Babe,” co-starring John Goodman and Kelly McGillis, “Kuffs,” co-starring Christian Slater and “Breakaway,” an indie action-adventure movie filmed entirely on location in Melbourne, Australia. Boxleitner co-starred in “The Baltimore Bullet” with the late famed actor James Coburn. Boxleitner also starred in the Warner Bros. motion picture “Gods and Generals,” the screen adaptation of Jeff Shaara’s best-selling novel and prequel to the acclaimed drama “Gettysburg.” It is an epic and sweeping portrayal of a nation divided at the start of the Civil War with a stellar cast that includes Robert Duvall, Jeff Daniels, Stephan Lang and Mira Sorvino. A multi-talented actor, Boxleitner is known to sci-fi fans worldwide as John Sheridan, the character he played on the hit series “Babylon 5.” Sheridan was President of the Interstellar Alliance, and war hero turned diplomat, at the helm of Earth Alliance Space Station. Boxleitner starred for five seasons in the nationally syndicated series, which debuted in October 1994. Boxleitner’s four-year run starring opposite Kate Jackson in “Scarecrow and Mrs. King” made him a name to remember. He also starred as the endearing Billy Montana in the “Gambler” miniseries, based on the best-selling song performed by Kenny Rogers, and in CBS’s “Wyatt Earp: Return To Tombstone.” Boxleitner enjoyed wearing two hats when he executive produced and co-starred in Showtime’s “Double Jeopardy,” a two-hour murder mystery co-starring Sela Ward, Sally Kirkland and Rachel Ward. ### (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL / ‘LOVE’S EVERLASTING COURAGE’ – Cast Bios – Page 3 WES BROWN (Clark) – Wes Brown was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he attended Louisiana State University. Prior to graduating from LSU, Wes got his big break right in his home state, filming the 2006 sports drama “Glory Road” on location in Southern Louisiana. Soon after, he relocated to Los Angeles and landed another supporting role in the Warner Bros. feature, “We Are Marshall,” in which he played actor Ian McShane’s son. Brown is perhaps best known for his role on HBO’s hit vampire series, “True Blood,” in which he had a recurring role as Luke, a former football player with a vengeance against vampires. The handsome actor has also had guest-starring roles on “CSI: Miami,” in which he played actor Dean Cain’s son, “Criminal Minds” and a recurring role on the NBC medical drama “Trauma” as well as the most recent season of “NCIS.” Brown was a series regular in the Lifetime Network’s miniseries, “Beach Girls,” starring Rob Lowe and is starring in the Hallmark Channel Original Movies “Love Begins” and “Love’s Everlasting Courage.” Brown can be seen in the new ABC series “Scandal” by “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes, the series will premiere Fall 2011. In addition to acting, Brown is also a guitarist and singer/songwriter. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. ### MORGAN LILY (Missie) – Morgan Lily’s career in the entertainment industry began when she was just three months old, after she appeared on the cover of a Talbots catalog. Advertising agencies quickly took notice, and by the age of four, Lily had already hit it big as a print model. She appeared in world-famous international fashion magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, ELLE and Amica. She also modeled in various Macy's, Sara Lee and Disney publications. Her increasingly recognizable face was seen in a Burberry London Clothing ad and on the cover of American Girl magazine. Lily’s early success in print led to her first acting job in a Hallmark Mother's Day commercial. Future commercial work included appearances in national spots for Nabisco, Kellogg's and a Hallmark Christmas ad. In 2005, Lily made her movie debut in "Shards,” a poignant film portraying the return of an Iraq war veteran to his family in the United States. The role led Lily to the 2006 made-for-television comedy titled "Welcome to the Jungle Gym," co-starring Jennifer Aspen as a working mom who tries to maintain a friendship with her two girlfriends while balancing a family life. In 2007, Lily starred in a variety of national commercials for such renown brands as Jif Peanut Butter, Dodge and Continental Airlines. Lily has also appeared in the feature films "Pornstar" and "Henry Poole is Here," starring Luke Wilson as a man who finds out he only has six weeks to live. Lily is as big a performer at home as she is on the silver screen. She loves to dance and sing with her mother April Gross, sister Riley Jane and brother Jordan David. Her hobbies include comedy, magic and ventriloquism with her father, comedian and former professional athlete Andy Gross. She is also an enthusiastic animal lover. ### JULIE MOND (Ellen) – Julie Mond, a native New Yorker, grew up on Long Island. Drawn to acting at a young age, Mond created variety shows with childhood friends and made little films in her attic. She later moved to New York City where she graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University. While Mond was in college she appeared in commercials, experimented in the down town theater scene and studied with some of New York’s top acting teachers. After graduating from Barnard, Mond moved to Los Angeles and quickly began working in film and television. She is best known for her recurring role on “General Hospital,” as the cunning Dr Lisa Niles. Mond has had guest leads on “CSI Miami,” “CSI NY” and “Cold Case.” She starred alongside Lea Thompson and Desmond Harrington in the action thriller “Exit Speed,” in the independent film “Neighbors” alongside Michael O’Keefe and Catherine Dent.
