All items are maintained to the highest quality and conform with regulatory safety standards and procedures. Electrical activities hold a valid PAT certificate and are operated by friendly and enthusiastic Firebird operator. Where applicable, activities are supplied with an 8ft x 8ft marquee or hospitality trailer unit, safety and support equipment, crash helmets and safety pads, course cones and obstacles, safety pit lane markers, circuit control flags, electric or petrol blowers.

The Bucking Rugby Ball offers equalled amounts of fun and laughter for the spectators and the rider as they “try” and hang on whilst being bucked and spun off. The Big Piano POA (2m X 4.5m up to 7.5m) The BIG Piano is a high-energy, engaging and unique way of getting people together. The specially written software tells you when to play and also calculates a score depending on how many correct notes are played. This enables it to be run as a tournament alongside Casinos with fun money and leader board. The software uses midi files and can be programmed to play any song. If a client wants to request a specific song we can add it to the catalogue if enough notice is given. The current song catalogue consists of classic piano tunes, Christmas songs, pop songs and James Bond themes! Bobbly Heads POA (Production is 30-40 bodies per hour) (3m X 3m) This new concept is fantastic! We set up a small studio and take your picture and print it out using a high quality printer. We then slip the face into a special computerised cutting tool which cuts out the image around the hair line. This is then stuck with a special spring onto a choice of 25 bodies made from 6mm Foamex. The finished product stands 10” (250mm) tall and the head “Bobbles” on a spring. Bobbly Heads is guaranteed to be the talking point of your event, party or exhibition.

PicFlips POA (Production is 60 books per hour, 3m X 3m) We also offer a bespoke ‘green screen’ option with any background This fantastic new service creates flip books and is the newest craze in customized party giveaways. We setup a fantastically modern booth at your event and invite guests to step behind the camera and make a short video clip. Within 90 seconds we turn the video clip into a personalised flipbook that guests take away with them immediately. We can produce up to 60 flip books per hour. It creates such a buzz as your guest’s watch each other make the video and give each other ideas. Popcorn Cart POA (Sizes: L: 2.1m, W: 1.0m, H: without umbrella: 1.2m, with umbrella: 2.1m) A firm favourite with children and adults alike. Our Popcorn carts come complete with everything you’ll need, uniformed member of staff, choice of salted or sweet popcorn, Tubs and Pots. The pop corn will be freshly made on site for you and your guests at your event and served in old fashioned boxes. All our carts are delivered and operated by our fully trained, uniformed and professional staff. We hold current Food and Hygiene certificates.
Ice Cream Bars: POA (3m L X 2m W) Our exuberantly funky, colourful and styled bars contain the highest quality ice cream, specially packed into single-serving cartridges which guests select from our freezers. They insert the cartridges into one of our unique ice cream pumps and pull down on the handle. It's as simple as that! The ice cream is delivered right into their cone or cup, ready for smothering with all kinds of delicious sprinkles and sauces. Every serving is perfectly frozen even at the end of the night. Everything you need to create the perfect ice cream… From a beautiful and simple vanilla to a mint chocolate with choc chips and hot fudge sauce. Our flavours are: ICE CREAM: Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Strawberry and Caramel. SPRINKLES: White and Dark Chocolate Chips, Mint Crunch, Strawberry Crunch, Hundreds and Thousands. Crepes Tricycle POA 2m L x 1.1m D, H with umbrella: 2.5m or without umbrella: 1.5m Why not have our gorgeous orange / yellow stripy crepes tricycle offering your guests a choice of tempting savoury or sweet crepes! Toppings for sweet crepes include; sugar & lemon, maple syrup, Nutella, strawberry jam, raspberry jam, apple sauce & cinnamon, fresh strawberries, banana, cream, pineapple and kiwi. Savoury toppings include; ham, chicken, cheddar cheese, smoked salmon, cream cheese & chives, red & yellow pepper, red onion, mushroom and tomato. You will need to pre-select up to 6 toppings for your guests to choose from prior to the event.
Snow Cones POA 2m L x 1.1m D, H with umbrella: 2.5m or without umbrella: 1.5m An unusual extra for any event… We feed ice into the snow cone machine which turns the ice into ‘snow’ for your guests to enjoy. Our uniformed operator scoops the ‘snow’ into a cup and your guests choose a syrup of their choice to flavour their ‘snow’. You will need to pre-select 12 flavours for your event from our extensive list of 77 flavours. The snow cones can even be topped off with an alcoholic shot! This can be provided by us for an additional fee, or you can provide your preferred alcohol for us to serve.
Batak Challenge POA (2.5m H x 1.5m W x 0.5m D) A unique and challenging game requiring fast hand and eye co-ordination. This features led score boards and digital voice instructions. Featured on the television shows Body Heat and Record Breakers. A see-through version was featured in the Game Zone at the Millennium Dome. Excellent for exhibitions and corporate participation events.

Radio Controlled Tank Battle POA (8 Tanks, 8m W x up to 16m L) Tanx is a totally unique and exhilarating radio control activity, using infra red battle systems for tank to tank combat and games. Every tank is a highly detailed scale model of the WW2 Tiger 1 tank. Each is fitted with a computer controlled system, producing breathtaking sound and visual effects. Even the firing of the main cannon produces a true to life flash and recoil. This much realism draws you close into the action, making you feel like you are driving a real tank into battle. Miniboots Radio Control Football POA (14ft x 8ft) Two teams of 3 play against each other in a football game with a difference. Just as the traditional game the object is to score by getting the ball into the goal of the opposing team. At 14ft x 8ft the game fits nicely in most rooms. Outside events are popular but a Marquee is required. The players control a boot on wheels. With skill, teamwork and tactics it is possible to use the boot to push the ball into the goal of the opposition. Not an easy game but this seems to make the players even more determined to succeed. When a goal is scored the roar from the supporters makes you wonder which famous stadium you are standing in! This game was purpose built for Firebird which makes it even more unique. VIDEO LINK
Candy Carts Hire POA Our handmade vintage style colour co-ordinated sweet cart which is wonderfully illuminated, will present an eye catching display of your favourite childhood sweets from Flying Saucers, Jelly Babies, Bons Bons and Love Hearts the list is mouth wateringly endless. The sweets are displayed in elegant style glassware, from which guests can choose and fill their sweetie bag.. 10 choices of sweets from a list of 60 ( Savoury list also available )
Robo Challenge POA (3.5 W x 4.0m D) Robo Challenge is a mobile robotic combat system that gives you the chance to have fun Robot Wars style in a battle zone. The robots are large and can be flipped over and re-righted during battle - score points to win by driving into goals. The system is fully managed and comes with an awesome effects that adds to the experience. The thunder of battle provides a formidable gameplay experience for all.
Curling On Synthetic Ice POA (3m wide x 12 -20m Long - floor must be completely flat) Curling on synthetic ice is a great social event - a game of skill and fun that can be played by people of all ages and abilities. As well as the lane, we also provide the special curling stones, brushes, support equipment and Firebird operator all you need for a great curling event!
Mini Car Racing 5 - 9 Player POA (5m w x 4m D) or 9 Player POA (8m w x 8m D) We are proud to offer another national first. Our Mini Racing game is a new development and a great game for the for all events. As standard, we offer this 5 player game, but we can scale it to a massive 9 player game for larger groups. Players use unique driver like controls to control the mini cars around a challenging circuit. A computer records the number of laps conducted within 5 minutes. VIDEO LINK
Racing Simulators with LINK play 2 Player POA (3m W x 2m D) 4 Player POA (6m W x 2m D) 6 Player POA (9m W x 2m D) These are the UK’s only link play simulators of this standard. No one else offers this opportunity for head to head RACING! The simulator uses the worlds most realistic simulation controls, with LED rev indicators and lap times on the actual wheel. Not only this, but the feedback on the wheel will make you feel like you are driving an F1 car. All the action is displayed on a jaw dropping 50” screen, one per simulator. Ice Sculptures & Vodka Luges POA Ice Sculptures are stunning for room and table decoration. All larger sculptures can be manipulated into vodka luges... great fun at any event. Our designers can also create bespoke sculptures of any size including writing or corporate logos. We would ensure that the sculptures are set up before your guests arrive, and they will last on average for up to 8 hours, they are each supplied with a table drain tray that is a self contained unit that will hold all the water.
Golf Putting Challenge POA (1.0m W x 2m L) This great golf putting simulator has a fantastic range of putts that will really test even the lowest golf handicap! 2 x 18 hole championship putting greens, 36 individual putting green scenarios, practice holes for beginners, full sound commentary and crowd background. 1 to 4 players can participate at any one time.
Golf Simulator POA (8m D X 8m W X 3m H) Practice your putting and driving skills on this indoor simulator. Using the latest technology and incorporating photo-real graphics, players of all abilities and ages have the opportunity to experience this state of the art golf simulator. Making their own choice of club, players hit a golf ball on to a large photo-real image of one of the world's most famous courses. Watch as the computer takes over and, sensing it's natural path, recreates it instantly on the screen leaving it to rest on the fairway, in the rough or even in a bunker, just like on a real course.
Golf Swing Analyser POA (5m D X 8m W X 3m H) Now you can play a full 18 holes of golf indoors. Entertain your guest with nearest the pin or longest drive competitions, even putt out.The simulator is ideal for competitions such as longest drive or nearest the pin, but it can do much more. The computer can accurately monitor your swing and identify areas for improvement by monitoring your swing pattern, club head speed, angle of address and contact with the ball. Horse Racing POA (6 races, 2 hours) We can bring you all the fun and excitement of the races but in the comfort of your own venue. Whether promotional, fun or fund raising, you are sure to back a real winner. Our compere, using video screen projection / plasma screens together with a professional sound system with interval music, will present the 6 – 8 races with eight runners in each. Tote tickets and race cards are provided. All our races have close finishes with the winner being in doubt right up to the post. Your guests really will have something to shout about as they watch their selections battle it out...on the flat and over the fences! After each race team leader boards will be displayed to show how well or bad the teams are doing, while the winnings and the next race cards are handed around.
High Striker POA (3m H, 1.0m D x 1.0m W) The High Striker is as old as they come and originates from the old style victorian fayre's, still hugely popular at any event. Ski Blizzard POA (3m H, 4.0 D x 5.0m W) & if outside A 5.5m H x 11m W Diameter Inflatable Event Station Is Required The Ski Blizzard is the ultimate Ski game which has recently been updated to a four skier platform. Using a 50” Plasma screen and the latest Namco Skiing video games on a Nintendo Wii format. Easier for access and also doubling the number of players. Players can race each other over different courses, including slalom and downhill. The blizzard is completely enclosed within a futuristic dome, with high- powered fans blowing artificial snow all around the dome. Participants wear ski goggles for protection and the dome is lit with up-lighters located within the legs. Bucking Bronco / Rodeo Bull POA (6m W x 6m L x 4m H) The bull spins, turns and bucks at controlled speeds, enabling everyone from children to a rodeo expert to experience the thrill of riding rodeo. Bouncy Boxing POA (5m W x 5m L) Bouncy boxing is a new craze which everyone will enjoy. Put on oversized padded boxing gloves and knock spots off your opponent whilst trying to keep your balance in the inflatable ring. However hard you hit your opponent you can do no harm - it's all huge, safe fun!

Two teams of five participants enter an inflatable playing area, attaching themselves by elastic to horizontal poles which slide from side to side. The Mobile Zip Line can be set up outdoors and indoors, having been centre attraction at the 2012 Gadget Show Live and appeared at the Outdoor Show in 2013. It is a revolutionary concept in mobile entertainment. Get an edge for your event and offer an activity that is guaranteed to exceed the expectations of your most discerning clients. The ride is easily accessible via a staircase to the launch platform. At the top of the launch platform, the rider enters the launch barrel which protects them from fall exposure, until they are safely connected to the zip line. Our ropes course is constructed with 9 separate elements or obstacle challenges. The elements can be changed to provide an easy or more testing course. Before starting on the course, the adventurer is kitted out with a helmet and harness and given a detailed safety briefing. Finally, the harness is clipped on to the course via the overhead safety rail. Then it’s off to face the challenge of the course. This course is designed to put participants out of their comfort zone and feel the sense of danger, whilst always being within a controlled atmosphere.
Spider Mountain & Slide POA (L16m x W5m x H7.2m, indoors or outdoors, minimum height of guests: 1.1m / maximum weight: 120 kgs) Spider Mountain is a new type of climbing activity, offering a physical challenge and plenty of fun. Spider Mountain sets adventurers the challenge of finding their way up through a maze of 7 elasticated spider’s webs to reach the 7m high summit. We have added a 7m vertical drop slide to increase the fun. Not surprisingly, this challenging energetic activity is a popular training drill used by the British Army.
Scramble Net Challenge POA (L12m x W12m x H5.5m, indoors or outdoors, minimum weight of guests: 15kgs / maximum: 120 kgs) You get a harness and a helmet fitted and attached to a Safety Line. Then, all you have to do is climb 5m to the top of the Scramble Net. Looks easy but it’s not! What makes the activity difficult is that the net is set at an angle. The higher you climb, the more challenging this activity becomes. When you are done let go and the auto belay gently drops you to the ground.
Spider Man Climbing POA (L15m x W15m x H5.5m, indoors or outdoors, minimum weight of guests: 18kgs / maximum: 120 kgs) Yes you really can climb up a wall just like Spiderman! In fact, this technology was used in the making of the Spiderman films and in field operations by the SAS. Firstly, we kit you out with space age magnetic gloves and foot holds, then you are ready to go. The glove and footholds contain powerful magnets that enable you to stick to the steel wall. Then we let you practise on the wall before tackling the whopping 5m tall challenge, kitted out with a harness attached to an auto belay to catch you if you fall.
Slack Lines POA (L15m x W15m, indoors or outdoors, minimum weight of guests: 15kgs / maximum: 120 kgs) If you’ve ever wanted to walk a tightrope high above the circus floor but got nervous just thinking about it, Slack Lining may be for you. Slack Lining is an increasingly popular sport sweeping across Europe. It involves walking across a stretchable strap that is about 40 cms off the ground. Slack Lining is a balance sport that uses nylon webbing tensioned between two anchor points. Once you have mastered your balance, you can then try some tricks such as stretching and bouncing like on a long and narrow trampoline. The line’s tension can be adjusted to suit the user and different types of dynamic webbing can be used to achieve a variety of feats.
Reverse Bungee POA (30m x 10m) The Reverse Bungee was built in Italy weighing in at 45 tons. It takes 5 hours to assemble and 3 hours to dismantle. It covers an area of 30m x 10m. The towers are 32m high. This thrilling ride is made up of two telescopic columns mounted on a semitrailer and a 2 seat sphere shaped vehicle connected to the upper parts of the columns by means of two elastic ropes. The passenger unit is held to the base of the ride by means of a strong magnet which keeps the elastic ropes stretched. After the command is given by the operator from the control panel, the magnet will release the vehicle launching it to a height of over 180 feet with an acceleration of 4.8G. During the launch, the vehicle carries out a free looping around its axis making the passengers scream with fear but with a great satisfaction for their new experience

Ice rinks can be used inside or outside, but would require a marquee cover outside to optimise use. Honda Pilots (Pair) POA (60m W x 60m L) These off-road buggies were originally designed for dune racing. They have a phenomenal rate of acceleration and the driver is fully protected within a roll cage. Despite their advanced design, pilots are simple to drive, with fully automatic hand operated controls. Guests race against the clock over a flagged course. Powerturns (Pair) POA (60m W x 60m L) Designed and built by an ex-Army Engineer, these exciting 2 seater buggies have to be controlled by two coordinated drivers using levers to power each of the two separate engines. Quick acceleration produces 'wheelies' but small drogue wheels prevent them from flipping over. You will be amazed at the performance of these extraordinary machines. VIDEO CLICK HERE
Tanks 3 units POA (11m W x 24m L) Mini tanks are our newest driving experience. we operate three 6mile per hour miniature tanks measuring 1 m wide by 2m long, each driven by one person operating two hydraulic levers... just like the real thing. Each tank runs on rubber-coated steel tracks which are powered by a 13bhp Honda gx-390 petrol engine, allowing the mini-tank to negotiate just about any obstacle, even water!!!... and will tolerate inclines of up to 60 degrees! .the driver is protected by a built-in roll cage, 4-point harness and firewall making this a very safe and secure driving experience. The British standard camouflaged “helicopter pilot” style helmet just adds to the fun. In very wet conditions the tanks will tear the grass a little but nothing extreme.
Quad Bikes (Pair) POA (20m W x 40m L) Master the art of the quad bike by embarking upon a course that will include a slalom, ramps, seesaw and hill climbing. After a practice, you will compete in a timed race and given extra points for skilled driving. VIDEO CLICK HERE
Blindfold 4 x 4 Driving POA (50m W x 50m L) A true test of teamwork and communication. The blindfolded driver is instructed by a sighted passenger and a slalom course has to be negotiated safely! Teams race against the clock with penalties being incurred for hitting any gates.
Reverse Steer Land Rover POA (60m W x 60m L) Our specially designed Land Rover is designed to confuse the driver! Turn the steering wheel left and the vehicle goes right. Guests have to negotiate a tricky course without hitting any flags. Circuits are timed to establish the event winner.
Hovercraft POA (60m W x 60m L) Experience the feeling of flight with these twin cylinder 2-stroke 500cc single seater hovercrafts. Steering the machines requires skill and agility, so by the time that you have negotiated our figure of eight course you will be a true professional. Hovercrafts create an unusual and unforgettable experience.
Max Cats (Pair) POA (60m W x 60m L) It may look like something out of The Banana Splits but it’s a six wheel all terrain and amphibious vehicle. Your instructor sits along side for guidance and tuition as you negotiate our beautiful and exhilarating off road course purposefully designed to show off the great climbing capabilities of these versatile atvs. This is very much a skilled driving activity but really rewarding when you develop the knack
Rage Buggies (Pair) POA (60m W x 60m L) Really fast and great fun, an off road buggy with an excellent chassis combined with long travel suspension satisfying a need for speed. It has a reduction gearbox, which has an ATB differential (with optional reverse) and a torque converter system widely used on many other ATV machines. The engine is a 670cc 24hp v-twin which gives good performance and a top speed in excess of 50mph. This is probably our most popular motorised activity and it’s easy to see why once you’ve done a lap and felt that adrenaline pumping.
Racing Lawn Mowers (Pair) POA (20m W x 40m L) All thrills of the motor racing brought to you via these fantastic high-tech lawnmowers! Our engineers have converted real mowers into exciting racing machines. Modifications include the fitting of a race seat and Formula 1 style steering wheel. Participants will race against the clock and as a Team Challenge we can include an obligatory pit lane tyre change. This activity is hilarious fun… Watch out for ‘Garden Rage’!
FIRING & SHOOTING ACTIVITIES These skilled activities require a steady hand. Our professional operators will instruct you in these sports of Kings. Each activity is supplied with an 8ft x 8ft marquee or hospitality trailer unit, safety and support equipment.
Archery POA (5m W x 20m L) Have a go at this medieval hand to eye coordination sport, and allow your instructor to turn you into the next Robin Hood or Maid Marion (Green tights optional). Archery has been used for centuries in competition, so why not try your skill and judgment against your colleagues. Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting POA (55m W x 30m L) Using de-activated 12 bore shotguns fitted with laser technology, it is possible to experience the thrill of clay shooting without the expense and danger of the original sport. Our friendly and expert operators will ensure that everyone can take part, making Laser Clay Shooting suitable for any event. The laser system is extremely accurate, and calculates your reaction time enabling a variety of different challenges including speed shoot, skeet and speed skeet. Target Paintball POA (60m W x 30m L) Make your way down a 30ft walk way lined with props and obstacles. As you approach, targets pop up around you. Clay Pigeon Shooting POA One of our most popular activities and with good reason. It is truly a sport for all. Our qualified, professional clay pigeon shooting instructors will help your guests to achieve results well beyond their expectations. The shooting layout is designed to be possible for novices and yet challenging for more experienced shooters. Each stand includes a professional, qualified shooting instructor, safety cage and trap, suitable guns, hearing protection, up to 500 clays and low-recoil cartridges.

Cannon Firing Range From POA Each group works as a team, aiming, loading and firing the cannon at the fortress target. For large groups requiring faster throughput, two weapons are used simultaneously, requiring two instructors. Instructors are dressed in appropriate historical military costume.

Muzzle Loaders POA Black powder shooting (flintlocks, blunderbusses etc) – a fascinating insight into shooting of a bygone era, with genuine antique weapons and instructors in period costume. Lots of colour, noise and smoke!

GNAT Shooting - Shoot radio-controlled model aircraft! Clay Pigeon Shooting, with a difference! The GNAT offers a new and exciting challenge to shooting enthusiasts. It is a target like no other, capable of speeds up to 100 mph and aerobatics to confound the experts. It has the flexibility to cater for all standards of shooter, ensuring fun for everyone. Scores soon start to mount up, as direct hits set off explosive pods fitted to the aircraft, giving a highly visual effect. Maximum bonus points are achieved by blowing the target out of the sky! Teams use conventional shotguns and cartridges, and this activity comes complete with safety cages, guns, cartridges, hearing protection etc, plus a pilot and technician with plenty of GNAT targets and a minimum of two professional shooting instructors.

Duck / Geese Herding POA (50m x 50m) ‘One Man and his Dog’ has nothing on this! There is scope for much hilarity as guests try to control the collies and herd the ducks through an obstacle course, under instruction from a top sheepdog handler. VIDEO CLICK HERE
Falconry POA (25m x 11m) Under the supervision of our professional falconer, guests are invited to handle and fly these beautiful birds. Maximum participation and interaction with the birds is encouraged. It is an unforgettable moment when a Hawk swoops out of the sky and lands on your gloved fist! Falconry fits in well with a Multi Activity Day or as part of a Family Fun Day where displays can be held in a central arena.
Gun Dog Handling POA (35m x 35m) Experienced, professional trainers bring a range of breeds such as Labradors, Spaniels, Pointers and Retrievers, along with puppies whenever possible. Guests have close contact with the friendly and approachable dogs, learn about, and participate in training methods from simple obedience to challenging retrieves. Ferret Racing POA (35m x 35m) An original way to entertain your guests with these wonderful creatures. Guests become involved with the race, entering the ferret into the pipe course then dashing to the other end of the course encouraging their ferret to win the race.
