BROWN BRINGS IT • After leading the Cal women’s basketball team to an upset over No. 20 Arkansas, Cal senior Jaelyn Brown was named the ESPNW Na- tional Player of the Week and the Pac-12 Player of the Week on November 25. Brown had 30 points and 12 rebounds in the win over the Razorbacks, joining All-Americans Ashley Walker, Reshanda Gray, and Kristine Anigwe as the only Golden Bears in the last 20 seasons to post at least 30 points and 12 rebounds in a single game • The 6’1” senior from Murrieta, California, has played in every game during her Cal career and enters Sunday’s game against the Hus- kies with a streak of 119 consectuive appearances for the Golden Bears • In her second season as a starter, Brown has seen her usage percentage (percent of plays during their time on the floor that a player used by either shooting, getting to the line, or committing a turnover) expand from 16.3% last season to a team-high 23.4% this year • Brown (11.9 ppg) and fellow senior Sara Anastasieska (10.3 ppg) are the only players averaging double-figures for the Bears during Pac-12 play

The first women were admitted to the university in 1872 and the first woman, Rosa Scrivner, graduated with a Bachelor’s de- gree in Agriculture in 1874 • Since that time, hundreds of thousands of women have graduated from UC Berkeley, and thousands of staff, faculty, and friends of the campus have made immeasurable contributions to campus and beyond 2019-20 CAL WOMEN’S BASKETBALL GAME NOTES 5 2019-20 ROSTER
