After dropping the GHSA Class AAAAA final a year ago, the Wolverines edged 25 TWORN SEALS 6’6 FR PF/C unbeaten Allatoona, 50-48, in the championship game earlier this month in Macon. ROAD TO THE DICK’S NATIONALS HEAD COACH: CURTIS CONDIE The Tigers (29-3), who joined the national scene last year, have made quite an impression in a short period. The fearless scheduling approach gave the Tigers a taste of the big time, going 1-3 against teams in the DICK’S Nationals field and winning 24 of 26 on the road. After dropping contests to Findlay Prep and Montverde Academy on the road, the Tigers went on a Midwest road trip in early January, sweeping three contests, including an 80-71 triumph at La Lumiere. The praise continued at the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament, finishing second to the host school in an 83-62 loss. The Tigers also headed north to Toronto, winning three times in early March.
