About the majestic Sunset: Dar es Salaam has one of the best locations to see the Sunset from the Ocean. Two routes are offered for this trip. One where we cruise around the sea cliff via the yacht club triangular tour paired with amazing views of the yachts and the sunset, then back to Slipway. The other option is a cruise that will give you a spectacular view of the bongoyo island and a beautiful sunset on the way back to Slipway. About the cruise: We cruise around to Mbudya island via the bongoyo island for approximately 1 hour. The yacht then docks at Mbudya Island where you can enjoy the white sands and clear ocean. A range of activities are available including swimming, themed picnics, beach sports and more. We then finish the day off with a beautiful view of the sunset and the dazzling city of Dar es Salaam. About the cruise: This cruise begins at Slipway, we then cruise around neighbouring islands Mbudya and Bongoyo. Then we finally dock at Fungu Yasini sand bank which is one of the four islands of the Dar es Salaam Marine Reserve. A tent will be set up for lunch. A range of activities are available including swimming, themed picnics, beach sports and more. We then finish the day off with a beautiful view of the sunset and the dazzling city of Dar es Salaam.

We cruise around to the private Sinda island for about 3 hours . Explore Indian Oceans Marine life. After we dock a range of activities are available including snorkeling, swimming, themed picnics, beach sports and more. We then finish the day off with a beautiful view of the sunset and the dazzling city of Dar es Salaam.

About the trip:

Day 1 The trip will begin at Slipway where suitcases will be loaded and guests will be welcomed aboard by The Captain, Mr Nassoro. You will then receive a refreshing towel followed by a small breakfast before departure to Mafia. We will cruise at a speed of 14 to 16 knots, allowing us to reach Kilindoni around 3 pm. Where lunch will be served on the boat. During the cruise there will be a chance to explore the spectacular Marine life including Whale and Dolphin watching. We shall drop the anchor in Kilindoni in mafia close to the port jetty. Jet skis will be available to ride around the bay. Guests are also welcomed to take walks around the beach and enjoy the cool waters. Dinner will then be served at the lower deck.

Day 2 Guests will start off with a filling breakfast. They will then be picked up by a competent guide to a secondary boat for whale and shark watching. Then lunch will be served back at the mother boat. After lunch we shall cruise to Bwejuu island for snorkeling on the reefs, and jet skis will be available to ride. We may stay overnight at Bwejuu or cruise back to Kilindoni depending on the guest preference.

Day 3 After break-fast we will lift the anchor and cruise back to Slipway passing by Tanzania’s private islands, and expected to arrive back at 5pm.
