The Parish Council is seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant and Project Support Officer.

The applicant must be computer literate, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a good organisational ability and a basic understanding of local government.

The post holder will be part of a small, friendly team and will provide a full clerical and administrative support service to the Clerk and the Parish Council. Duties will include ensuring all visitors to the Parish Office are dealt with promptly, efficiently and courteously, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, photocopying, sending out fortnightly agendas, and assisting the Clerk with Parish Council projects. The hours are flexible and will involve working in the Parish Office 2 or 3 mornings a week.

This role will involve occasional attendance at evening meetings and occasional weekend working.
