If we wanted a different, more meaningful approach to Holocaust education, we needed to, as it were, have our expert historians “share” the Shoah with skilled and inspiring educators. I set about nurturing an entire cadre of professional educators who, in addition to their solid historical grounding, would work with successive generations of students and teachers in rapidly changing educational environments – in Israel and worldwide.
