Red brick walls and antique fixtures define the interior with the building opening out on to a generous timber verandah, a classical fountain and kitchen gardens.

At The Farm Yarra Valley, we pride ourselves on strong communities. With local producers making ,wine and cheese on site and our seasonal menu ESTABLISHED IN 2016 AND NESTLED featuring vegetables from our kitchen garden along with locally grown produce. WEDDINGS AT THE FARM

At The Farm we firmly believe that a wedding is about families and friends coming together in celebration of marriage. Sharing a meal together is not only a time honoured tradition, but is at the heart of how families develop bonds that will last a lifetime.

By selecting one of our four wedding packages below, you’ll set the tone of your special day.

Each six hour package includes starters, mains, and our stunning beverage package. There is a generous schedule for speeches, dancing and photographs.

The beverage package includes two red wines and two white wines from Rob Dolan Wines, in addition to their Blanc de Blanc Sparkling, beer on tap by The Public Brewery, local cider, soft drinks, espresso coffee and loose leaf tea.

Established in 2013, our sister venue, The Public Brewery in Croydon was the first independently owned craft brewery in Victoria’s eastern suburbs. We proudly serve a selection from their range including 100 Acres Australian Pale Ale, Red Falcon American Red and Featherweight Craft Light.

We are lucky enough to share our hillside with Rob Dolan Wines. Rob’s 20 years experience in the Yarra Valley is evidenced in the exceptional quality and character of his wines.

VENUE HIRE

A venue hire fee of $1,500 applies to weddings at The Farm, which, as well as exclusive use of the venue includes the following. white table linen | white napkins | gift & cake table |personalised wedding menus | tea light candles| feature indoor truss flower arrangement | outdoor festoon lights | outdoor cane furniture | cutlery, crockery & glassware | access to our wedding planning and ceremony team | set up of personal details - place cards, bobonnieres etc | liaising with vendors during planning, bump-in and pack down

The Farm is equipped with an audio system both internally and externally; this has a 3.5mm auxiliary connection suitable for background music. A roaming microphone is available for use on the day.

Mobile Cocktail Station

$250 for an hour, cocktails priced on consumption

8 CEREMONIES AT THE FARM

At The Farm, we have a number of suitable locations to hold your ceremony. We have a beautiful barn facade and picturesque hillside locations for you to choose from.

Included in the ceremony fee of $1,000 will be a registry table and chairs, as well as seating for up to 40 guests on reclaimed timber pews.

The ceremony fee also covers an additional hour of exclusive access to The Farm (not including food or beverage service).

FUNCTION TIMES

Evening weddings to commence by 5:00pm.

Weddings at The Farm are based on a 6 hour period with beverage services concluding half an hour prior to completion of the function.

Vendor access to the site for evening weddings is from 11am on the day of wedding and from 8am for lunch weddings.

BOOKING TERMS&CONDITIONS DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of total event cost is required to secure your booking date, accompanied by a signed copy of our booking agreement. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received and receipted.

PAYMENT & MINIMUM SPENDS

Your final guest numbers must be confirmed and paid for no less than 21 days prior to your Wedding date. Final Payment can be made by electronic funds transfer, cheque or credit card.

September - May - $15,000 for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Mid Week (Monday to Thursday) - $8,000 (excluding Public Holidays, days surrounding public holidays, also January and December

Winter (June, July & August) - $8,000 any day of the week (excluding public holidays & days surrounding public holidays)

CANCELLATION

In the unfortunate event of cancellation, we will require a written confirmation and will be subject to the below cancellation policy.

30 - 60 days prior client is liable to pay cancellation fee of 25% of the final balance

14 - 30 days prior client is liable to pay cancellation fee of 50% of the final balance

Less than 14 days prior the client is to pay cancellation fee of 100% of final balance

In the unlikely event that The Farm Yarra Valley are unable to provide your wedding due to any natural occurrences (including flooding or fire) a full reimbursement of monies paid will be guaranteed.

RESPONSIBILITY

You are financially responsible for any damage or loss of The Farm Yarra Valley property caused by your guests or contractors etc. to the premises.

You are required to inform all relevant persons involved in the organising of your event, whether delegates, colleagues or contractors, of these Terms and Conditions.

Responsible Service of Alcohol - The Farm Yarra Valley reserves the right to decline service to any guest whom we believe to be intoxicated. In conjunction with this, any guest (including the client and vendors) arriving with open alcoholic beverages will be asked to leave premises.

DECORATIONS

All decorations must be approved by The Farm Yarra Valley in writing prior to your event (outside of standard floral arrangements). Nothing is to be nailed, bolted, screwed or stapled into any part of our venue, it’s facade, or additional hired items. Non permanent or damaging fixtures (cable ties) are accepted.

We do not permit throwing of confetti, rice, glitter or streamers. Fresh / dried flowers or leaves and bubbles are permitted.

CREW AND CHILDREN

Crew meals for all staff such as photographer, videographers, drivers and band members will be charged at $50pp, which will include a main meal and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the meal and during the event.

Children are charged at the following rates

0 - 2 years - free of charge (unless they require a meal, then $60 will be charged)

3 - 11 years - $60 per child

12 - 17 years - $20 less than the adult price

Prices are subject to change, further terms and conditions may apply Any event which occurs / runs into a public holiday will incur a 15% surcharge
