PROCESSING A WARRANTY Requirements for processing a claim through the Gabriel Care-line 1. When processing a claim through our Gabriel Care-line please have the following information with you: • Motorist’s name and phone number • Claimed part number • Manufacturing Date code • Invoice date and number • Type of fault/Customer complaint relating to the various fault codes. • If a claim is to be made against a specific promotion or program, the full and correct name of the promotion with the original Outlet Name where the unit was purchased will be needed 2. Call 0861 GABRIEL (0861 422 7435) to register your warranty claim. 3. Should the information supplied be correct, then an RMA number will be issued and this number should be used along with your own internal reference as the credit reference back to your product supplier. It is advisable that the RMA number is physically written on the product with a white/black paint pen prior to returning it back to the supplier. Should this not be possible, you must indicate on the return paperwork the RMA number for the supplier to record on the unit accordingly. 4. Should an RMA number not be issued, the reason will be explained to you for communication to your customer. 5. As Gabriel honours national warranties from any store, irrespective of where the customer purchased the units from, it is still your responsibility to validate if the customer has a valid invoice and we advice that you make a copy of this invoice for your records, 6.
