    2011-08-02 09:23 CEST Luc Donckerwolke blir chef för Advanced Design inom Volkswagen-koncernen Luc Donckerwolke, som tidigare varit designchef på SEAT, kommer nu att rapportera direkt till Volkswagen-koncernens designchef Walter de Silva. Luc Donckerwolkes efterträdare Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos kommer närmast från posten som designchef hos Renault Samsung Motors. 46-årige Luc Donckerwolke började sin karriär inom Volkswagen- gruppen 1992. Han startade som designer på Audi, innan han flyttade till Skoda 1994, för att bli koordineringsansvarig för exteriör design. Donckerwolke återvände till Audi 1996 där han blev chef för avdelningen exteriör design och därefter studiochef i Ingolstadt. 1998 gick han över till Lamborghini och utnämndes till märkets designchef 2003. Han började jobba som designchef hos SEAT 2005. Luc Donckerwolkes efterträdare Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, började arbeta för Volkswagen - gruppen 1995 och har varit inblandad i designen av flera SEAT-modeller. Han fortsatte sin karriär på koncernens Design Center Europe i Spanien, där han ansvarade för flera projekt inom exteriör design för SEAT, Volkswagen och Audi.
