And the overall winner of all 3 disciplines combined. DATE AND PLACE OF THE EVENT The competition will take place from August 10 th to August 14 th in Kolomna, Russia. EVENT ORGANISERS The competition is organised under the auspices of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale and the International Parachuting Commission by the Aviation Sports Club Aerograd and is fully supported by the Federation of Parachuting Sports of Russia and the Federation of Aeronautical Sports of Russia. By Air: Meeting and transfer of delegations from either the Sheremetievo or Domodedovo Airports to their hotel or the competition site can be arranged by the organiser upon request. Cost to be paid to the Organizers upon arrival. 10 – 12 people 4 – 6 people Sheremetievo Airport 900 RUR/ person 1800 RUR/ person (appr. 23€/person) (appr. 46€/person) Domodedovo Airport 675 RUR/ person 1350 RUR/ person (appr. 17€/person) (appr. 34€/person) Depending on arrival times, it is possible that several delegations will be grouped together; this may cause some waiting at the airport. For transfer from airport please contact [email protected] By Car: The Aerograd drop zone is located 100km south of Moscow off the M5 highway (Moscow – Chelyabinsk). You leave Moscow by Volgogradsky Prospect, go straight on for about 113 km from the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). About 200m from Oka river you will see a fuel station and a big sign “Kolomna, Salnikovo, Levino” («Коломна , Сальниково , Левино ») . At this sign you turn right, and again right under the bridge. 300m from the turn you will see entry gates to the DZ. MI-8 will be used as reserve aircraft. SAFETY INFORMATION The following are mandatory safety requirements: - open face helmet, - use of AAD (Cyprus or Vigil are the only AADs authorised in Russia), - 6 months reserve repack validity INSURANCE Each competitor must have medical insurance valid for the Russian Federation covering repatriation costs and Third Party insurance for $30 000 valid on the territory of the Russian Federation. Event liability insurance covering Officials, Judges, etc. will be arranged by the organiser. The immediate medical care (First Aid) is the responsibility of the Organiser during the official event, including training days. There will be 2 ambulances with highly qualified staff on site as well as the regular DZ medical personnel (2 doctors). PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS To take part in the event, a valid FAI Sport Licence 2010 is required. Each participating country must also bring a national flag (size: 100 cm x 150 cm) and a tape/CD with the national anthem for the ceremonies. August 7 th Training Judges Seminar, Arrival of Judges August 8 th Arrival of Delegations, Event Judge Meeting 09:00, Judges Conference 14:00 August 9 th Official Training Day, Judges Conference Opening Ceremony (in front of the restaurant, 18.00) August 10 th Competition Jumps (start at 8.00), if windy – start at 7.00 August 11 th – 13 th Competition Jumps (start at 8.00) August 14 th Competition jumps until 13:00 August 14 th 18:00 Closing Ceremony, Awards and Farewell Banquet (in front of the restaurant) August 15 th Departure of Teams and Judges ENTRY FEES Competitors: €530 (9 competition jumps + 2 training jumps) Head of Delegation, Team Manager: €220 Training Judge: €350 Accompanying Persons: €130 The entry fees for competitors, HoD and TM include: All competition jumps – for competitors IPC sanction fee Lunch from the DZ canteen during Competition days Opening & closing ceremonies Page 6 of 14 3rd FAI WORLD CANOPY PILOTING PARACHUTING CHAMPIONSHIPS Banquet The entry fee for Training Judges includes: Judge Training Lunch from the DZ canteen during Competition days Opening & closing ceremonies Banquet For the course to take place, a minimum of four participants must be registered The entry fee for Accompanying Persons includes: Lunch from the DZ canteen during Competition days Opening & closing ceremonies Banquet Accommodation is not included. TRAINING During July and until August 31 s, all CP jumps will cost €15/per jump. ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION Competitors are responsible for their own accommodation. There are 3 hotels in Kolomna situated 20km from the DZ. DROP ZONE FACILITIES The facilities include summer and winter hangars, a tent for packing at the swoop pond, rigger services large parking area 40-seat restaurant also has 150 seats outdoors café inside the winter hangar, sufficient toilets and shower rooms internet access The swoop pond is situated 200m from the main facilities. Competition manifest will be located at the swooping pond. Public address system will be used for announcements throughout the DZ.
