Dear Residents, With Christmas just a distant memory and Easter already knocking at the door I am being kept on my toes with all the news Events and New Trades and Services flooding in. I have already got details of the May Day carnival on Down Road and this year is going to be a bumper year with the committee inviting many new stall holders to join in, including lots of new crafts with the promise of stalls from the Church and Chapel all the way down to The Cross Hands pub this year will be bigger and better than before so be sure to put the date in your diary. If you would like to have a stall at this years Carnival please do get in touch with a committee member to book your space - details on page 9. As a horse rider with many friends with the same hobby I have put pen to paper and written an article about how to drive in harmony with our equine friends as it seems that there is an increasing number of drivers / riders in the area that are unaware on how to approach and pass each other safely. It is with sadness that I have to inform those of you that attend The Manor Day Centre in Winterbourne that March will be the last gathering of friends. This is due to a lack of secretary and also illness of some of the founder members.
