Public Service Commission on the First Biennial Plan 3 Biennial Plan

• In accordance with the Act, Pepco and DDOT filed a joint Biennial Plan on July 3, 2017 covering the two-year period, 2017-2019. The next Biennial Plan is planned to be filed September 2019. • Under the Biennial Plan, DDOT primarily will construct the underground facilities, and Pepco primarily will install the underground electric distribution for six overhead feeders affected by outages. 6 Feeder 308 Estimated Timeline – Civil Construction

• Notice to Proceed – May 2019 • Work will begin: – Western Avenue at Brandywine – 49th Street between Brandywine & Chesapeake – Fessenden Street between 44th & 45th/River Rd • Work on this feeder is expected to be completed by Q2 2020

7 Feeder 308 Civil Construction – Community Information

• Traffic Control Plan – Detailed traffic plans were generated for the following: • Signage placement • Lane closures • Parking restrictions • Safe pedestrian detours • Working Hours – Work is permitted between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. – Louder construction activities such as trenching and saw cutting will be prohibited prior to 8 a.m. when possible • Estimated Impacts – Trash and recycling pickup will be maintained during construction – Mail delivery will be maintained during construction – Parking will be impacted during certain areas – No parking signs will be hung 72 hours in advance
