The Atlanta Children's Please Note: Shelter Although our physical address is Peachtree Street, the Atlanta 607 Peachtree Street NE Children’s Shelter is located in the North Avenue Presbyterian Atlanta, GA 30308 Church campus closest to the corner of North Avenue and
404-892-3713 Courtland Street. Access to our facility is gained through the walkway off of North Avenue next to our playground or through the parking lot off Courtland.
From I-75/85 Southbound:
Exit North Avenue / Georgia Tech Exit Turn left onto North Avenue Cross over Peachtree Street (North Avenue Presbyterian Church is on the southeast corner of Peachtree Street and North Avenue) Turn right onto Courtland Street. Our entrance is inside the covered, gated parking lot under the church, but you MUST park on the street at meters or surrounding paid parking lots Please walk into the parking garage through the Courtland Street entrance. The Atlanta Children's Shelter will be on your right through the glass doors next to the playground
From I-75/85 Northbound:
Exit Peachtree Street Exit Follow Pine Street to Peachtree Street Turn left at the traffic light at Peachtree Street Proceed on Peachtree Street until you reach North Avenue (North Avenue Presbyterian Church is on the southeast corner of Peachtree Street and North Avenue) Turn right onto North Avenue Turn right onto Courtland Street. Our entrance is inside the covered, gated parking lot under the church, but you MUST park on the street at meters or surrounding paid parking lots Please walk into the parking garage through the Courtland Street entrance. The Atlanta Children's Shelter will be on your right through the glass doors next to the playground
From Downtown:
Take Peachtree Street north until you reach North Avenue (North Avenue Presbyterian Church is on the southeast corner of Peachtree Street and North Avenue) Turn right onto North Avenue Turn right onto Courtland Street. Take Piedmont Road north to North Avenue Turn left onto North Avenue Turn left onto Courtland Street Turn right onto Courtland Street. Our entrance is inside the covered, gated parking lot under the church, but you MUST park on the street at meters or surrounding paid parking lots Please walk into the parking garage through the Courtland Street entrance. The Atlanta Children's Shelter will be on your right through the glass doors next to the playground
From Buckhead or Points North of Midtown:
Take Spring Street or Peachtree Road south to North Avenue Turn left onto North Avenue (North Avenue Presbyterian Church will be on the southeast corner of Peachtree Street and North Avenue) Turn right onto Courtland Street. Our entrance is inside the covered, gated parking lot under the church, but you MUST park on the street at meters or surrounding paid parking lots Please walk into the parking garage through the Courtland Street entrance. The Atlanta Children's Shelter will be on your right through the glass doors next to the playground. The gate will be open Atlanta Children's Shelter is to the right
MARTA:
Take MARTA to the North Avenue Station Exit the station through the North Avenue exit Turn left onto North Avenue and proceed towards Peachtree Street At the intersection of North Avenue and Peachtree Street look for the big grey brick building on the far right corner which is North Avenue Presbyterian Church Cross over Peachtree Street and North Avenue Walk along the sidewalk with North Avenue Presbyterian Church on your right Halfway down the block on the right is a gate and walkway next to our playground Walk through the gate and down the walkway along the playground Atlanta Children's Shelter front door is next to the playground
